This place will tell you everything you want to hear. They failed to mention how they will double bill your account in hopes you would see the error. Another time, my father need extra memory care and they moved him to the Alzheimer until. Let me remind you it was the middle of summer and the room had zero air-conditioning. At that moment, I wish I would have filed for elder abuse. Please don’t allow your loved ones to set up residence with Sunshine Gardens.

After they told my dad he couldn’t come back. It’s been over a month and I still am getting the run around on a refund of money not used. Went back after getting his things and found workers in his room having a party. But I can’t get a straight answer about refunding part of this money. It’s nothing more than theft from an older person

My father has been at SUNSHINE GARDENS as of August 31, 2024. I can't say enough positive about his new home. The kindness he has been shown, the therapy he receives and asks for on a daily basis. The food is remarkable and has helped rebuild his strength more than I thought possible. KIMBERLY......amazing! Always available 🤗 ANGIE..... her right arm! Always available 🤗 I've needed both of these at different times. The phone is always answered!!! So much more I could say. We are Grateful and Blessed 🙏❤️

They show favoritism to some residents, they took $ 15,000 extra dollars out of my parents account after I moved them to a nursing home per doctor suggestion. Per 90 day notice we and Kelly agreed to just $5,000 for the month of August 2024 after she cleared with owner...$5,000 was taken out plus the addition of the $15,000. Did manage to get $5,000 back but was told they will work on getting us another $7,000 back. Been in touch with the director but we feel like we are being put off...just feel like we been burned...so if you put your parents here get a contract first day...I kept asking for one but never did receive one...😬

The automatic doors are only turned on when they know family is going to be there. I would not recommend this to anyone. The staff is polite but, they are over worked. The owner promises things then doesn't follow through. I normally don't do a bad review unless it was applicable. I hope it improves for the customers and staff.
