SUNSHINE HOME CARE - WINFIELD

Dirty, lots of drug abuse and out of control behavior by residents. Cops always getting called, I saw lots of property damage and assaults. I shared a room with 3 other people, cost me $850 a month, varies by persons disability check. Staff was overworked and stressed and they would yell at and be awful to residents. Was given the wrong medication several times, they'd run out of my meds often. I stayed a year and have been on my own for 3-4 years successfully.

Working on getting the place getting better.And it has new management & all new staff and the residents are much better and have goals that they are working on. So please give the Sunshine Home another chance cause these residents do need help and some have no family at all so the staff and other residents are their family. And this is their home and their chance to get better in life.

This is not an assisted living home. Most residents are recovering from addiction or mentally so ll. Staff was nice but not suited for our to needs

It was average. Staff were nice but frustrating. Very bureaucratic. Fellow residents were wonderful and made the experience bearable. The beds are the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. The food was average institutional food and very unhealthy. Many people with diabetes live there and the food will hasten their death. Manager is scary and threatening eviction if room isn't clean. I'm glad I'm back in my own place and out of here

Staff are friendly. I’ve always enjoyed my stays at Sunshine.
