It's always a very hard thing- when you feel the best option is to put your loved one in a nursing home. My mother passed away when I was very young. At 58 years old, my grandmother raised me and I wanted to be able to take care of her the way she did for me. It was her choice to go to this facility, she has friends that go here as well. I wanted to check into other places but she was firm on where she wanted to go. I can honestly say I am so impressed after meeting staff, and the managers of this facility. It is clean, friendly, and I feel they really care for the most important person to me. Kim and Kaila both go above and beyond to give the best care and respect to all the residents and I am so thankful for that. You guys make it easy for me to sleep at night- knowing the most precious person to me is being taken very well care of.

Went to see my great aunt last week and she was soaked through her clothes and bedding. Located an aide but she was too busy with her feet up and on her phone to do her job. My great aunts room was super hot and stuffy. I’m considering moving back home so she can stay with me. This place is a horrible living condition and the owner is rude!! I didn’t sign in. I asked a lady who was pushing a cart where my aunt was located and she told me. I then went to her room and her room condition was no lie. I understand you want your place of business to be the best but unfortunately it isn’t.

I like living at Symphony Manor. If I had one that I believe could be better is laundry. If you have anything that is white when you move in, don't expect it to stay white. Frequently they either loose your clothes or residents will steal them. However, they are trying to improve.

Well, it's called a non medical Adulting living facility with minor assistance. Most of the residents they accept come CPAP, with that being said the RSA's aren't trained for that field. Symphony side are RSA's with 0 certification. All care provides minor assistance and they are certified pca's. Accepts medicaid, but if you love your loved ones, I wouldn't ever send them there. The pictures they have online aren't up to date. They promise residents who go through the screening process that they will get free transportation to stores, banks, movies, etc, but that isnt true. They say this is a stepping stone to get you into senior living, but there has been residents who have lived there for over 3 years and have been trying to leave within a month of getting there, but there still waiting Even tho you're told before hand it will only take a month or 2. The conditions of the building are appalling. When it rains the walls leak, I've never thought that was possible until I saw it with my own eyes. The ceiling tiles have fallen, luckily no one has gotten Injured. Greg, the maintenance puts them back up as told per management and the same ones fall whenever there's a thunderstorm or snow storm. The floor cracks and water comes up, never seen that before either. There's BLACK mold in the main bathroom area around the toilet and multiple other places. Housekeepers are told to clean it, which they do, but it just grows back. They have issues with bugs getting into the building. Residents have been moved out of there room multiple times. They currently have a infestation going on now, but there keeping it hush hush. The state and health department has been there multiple times and they get fines, but no rechecks. Residents are beyond unhappy. On all cares side the residents who need extra help are suppose to get a aide everyday, but that doesn't happen and the residents are paying extra for that. They don't get showers, the ones who want showers and ask for ones are being told that your not on my list for today or it's not your shower day. If a resident wants a shower they should get a shower especially if there paying more for the extra services. Rooms are suppose to be cleaned 2 days a week which sometimes happens. Some rooms are nice, and some are disgusting. It's not a nursing home; yet there are residents there that are incontinence. Residents who refuse showers and aren't mentally stable and those should be sent out to where they belong, but the current owner doesn't want to lose the money. So the residents suffer for it. Symphony aides are understaffed. They have a couple aides who go above and beyond with a few from all care sides as well. Some aides are constantly on there phones or disappear and don't get there jobs done. There's fights between co-workers that happen in front of the residents, that's very unprofessional. The activity leader there's only one and she does the best she can with the funds she has. The kitchen staff is very much so understaffed. It seems like it has always been that way. The most under payed employees, but there constantly working. They have 1 cook, 1. If you work there you aren't valued. Your job is not safe unless of course your have a *in*. The turnover rate is crazy high. Back to the residents rooms. Some of them are closets. Some share. A few have private rooms and some private rooms have there own bath and showers. There sinks are constantly clogged sometimes there unclogged and sometimes the workers cant unclog them. Leaky toilets, bursting pipes in residents rooms, mold, Doesnt get properly fixed. So the problems arent resolved. 0 nurses on site. They have med techs on staff. Lots of mistakes with pills, lots of write ups. The residents who deserve a proper adult living facility are having group discussions all agree there treated like imates by owner and main HR, yet realize that if they were in prison the treatment and conditions would be better. The CM tries to help.

Great place for those who need assistance with their daily living. Staff is kind and helpful including owner Joe. My Father has been there for almost 2 years, they have always made him feel welcome and treat him good. Highly recommended!
