The staff and Debbie (head nurse) make your loved ones feel comfortable and well taken care of - my mom was at the Tapestry House for over 18 months and we could not be happier. In her final days the staff went above and beyond on every way - Highly Recommended

Tapestry House assisted living facility is a warm, family like environment. The base staff has been there for a long time which leads to a caring and professional environment. The management and nursing staff are very interactive with the resident's care and are always looking out for the resident's best interest. During this hard time they have provided ways to have residents interact with their family members. The food is good with choices provided for every meal. The kitchen staff is friendly. The facility is clean and has a very pleasant atmosphere. The activity director is awesome and really cares for the resident's. would recommend this facility for your loved ones.

I placed my father in Tapestry House about 2 years ago after being in another facility for 2 years. Tapestry House was greatly superior to the other facility in both the degree of care, the staff and the management of the facility. Dad recently passed away at age 91 and was in hospice care for the last 8 months. I can say nothing but great things about Lisa and Debbie and their staff at Tapestry House! KH

We have recently removed my stepfather from this facility. Since the Covid lockdown, conditions at this facility have deteriorated significantly. They are severely short staffed, with frequent waits of an hour or more for assistance after pressing the call button. My stepfather has been without meals served on multiple kccasions and his doctor confirmed he has lost 31 lbs in the 12 months he was there. Although they are dequired by law to have 1 caregiver per 25 residents at night, they do not (confirmed by DCH online reports). The report cited that they had one caregiver present for 58 residents. The staff that remain afftercmany have quit due to bad working conditions, are abusive to the residents. We also reported abuse and asked that a particular med tech be taken off of my stepfather's care, but she continued to enter his room without him calling ro verbally abuse him. The rooms have not been cleaned regularly, and my stepfather was not given a bath for nearly 3 weeks. When I addressed these concerns on multiple occasions with the director, she did not dispute that they had been failing in their care level, but the problems continued. When we went in to move him, the room had feces on multiple surfaces, throughout the apartment, filthy laundry was left all over the place and uneaten food had not been removed for extended periods of time. Although they keep the common areas "show ready," the living conditions for their residents are deplorable. DO NOT choose this facility for your loved one!

The kitchen staff make sure that the residents are happy and at home. Meals are prepared in a timely manner with the option of grilled station selections at the residents request, there is also the convenience of the deli station at night. Also, the accommodation of special diets for individual residents. The serving staff are of great service and It is evident at Tapestry House, making sure that the residents are pleased is their #1 priority.
