Why even have a phone number that states operating hours of 7am-7pm but nobody answers at ANY time of the day. Getting GA benefits are a joke.

I was treated very rudely(R Slater Georgia Composite Medical Board Compliance Specialist III, Compliance Division) these ignorant people talk to you like they're talking to people on the streets and getting ready to fight ,HE RATCHETT,GET RID OF HIM. AND THE VERY NEXT TIME I AM FACED WITH ANY OF YOUR SHENANIGANS OR INSULTING BEHAVIOR,I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT AGAINST YOU WITH THE STATE INSPECTOR. Trust me that 12.50 an hour isn't worth it ðŸ˜ðŸ¤¦.

I have been calling and emailing for months. Everyone states they will get back to you and do not return your phone call. Their voicemail provides an email address and they also do not return any emails sent to them. This has been the worst experience.

I am absolutely livid with the State Health Benefit Plan. I changed jobs in January and have been trying to get on my husband’s plan ever since, but the incompetence and neglect I’ve encountered has been appalling. I made one minor error on my paperwork—a mistake by just one day—and ever since, it feels like I’ve been punished for it. What should have been a simple process has turned into a drawn-out, stressful nightmare as they’ve dragged their feet at every step, seemingly determined to deny me coverage. I am a person who relies on regular visits to a hematologist oncologist to manage a serious medical condition. This isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s a matter of life and death. The State Health Benefit Plan’s complete lack of urgency or compassion has left me terrified for my health and for my ability to care for my child. I’ve done everything right on my end, and yet, I am being punished because of their inefficiency and disregard for my situation. This is beyond frustrating—it’s reckless and dangerous. The fact that they continue to ignore my family’s pleas for help is absolutely unacceptable. We live in a county where healthcare access is already limited, and every single day that passes without coverage puts my well-being at risk. The state’s disregard for my health and safety is infuriating, and the indifference they’ve shown is appalling. I have reached out countless times and received nothing but vague responses and empty promises. It’s clear they don’t care about the people they are supposed to serve, and this entire process has been a disgrace. What’s even worse is knowing that this kind of neglect could cost me my health—or worse. The State Health Benefit Plan has shown nothing but disregard for my needs, and I will not stand by silently as they play these dangerous games with my life.

After not being able to get anyone on the phone or to return my calls, I submitted a complaint Healthcare Facility Regulation against a nursing home on my mother's behalf. My complaint included photos and titles of employees I had brought the attention of a health matter affecting many residents. Over a month later I've called two different phone numbers numerous messages to follow up also an email to DCH all have gone unanswered. Does anyone actually work there? Are tax dollars funding this operation? At this point I feel like I've wasted time and hope in getting a unhealthy issue looked into
