THE BIRCHES AT HARLEYSVILLE

My husband is a resident in the memory care unit at The Birches. I really can't say enough good things about his experience there. I truly appreciate the staff, and from the very first day, welcomed my husband into their community family. My husband, Joe, is a "foodie". He loves the meals that are served. The Birches is very clean and the residents have so many activities to choose from every day. Each Wednesday there is a day trip that can be signed up for. Casino, restaurant, shopping, candy factory, you name it, they go! Thank you all at the Birches who work so hard to make my husband's and the rest of the residents' lives comfortable and happy.

My mother moved to Birches Memory Care after living independently at Arbor Square. The staff, from administrators to aides, were consistently professional and caring. During my visits, my mom was always well-groomed, and staff gestures like painting her nails lifted her spirits. Even as her health declined, her needs were met. I am deeply grateful for the compassion and dedication shown by everyone at Birches Memory Care during a challenging time.

My mother was a resident of an independent living community. When she was diagnosed with dementia I needed to find another place for her that could give her the care she needed. I visited many facilities and very happy with this choice. The Birches is warm and cozy and the residents are very sweet too! The nursing coordinator and her aides are the most caring, patient and friendly people. There is a peace of mind knowing your loved one is being treated with respect and kindness. The whole facility is full of dedicated staff. There is also plenty of activities and the food is good too!

I recently had the pleasure of touring The Birches of Harleysville Assisted Living and Memory Care, and I was truly impressed. The staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive—it was clear they genuinely care about the residents. The community was undergoing some room renovations, and the updated spaces are looking beautiful and comfortable. There was a noticeable sense of energy and positivity throughout the building. I was also impressed by the wide variety of engaging activities available for residents. It’s clear that The Birches is committed to creating a vibrant and supportive environment for seniors.

Five Stars; 2025 Quality care by a professional and experienced nursing staff. My Stepfather has been treated with kindness and respect and has been able to enjoy a lot of activities! I personally feel like the Seniors that reside within the community "really matter" to the staff and the Executive Director is extremely helpful and supportive and has in (my opinion) transformed this facility into an incredible place for elderly people. I don't have to worry as much about my Stepfather, as he has been receiving very excellent care and support. I highly recommend this wonderful assisted living facility if you’re looking for a new place for your Senior loved one to call home.
