It started with Jenn welcoming us and it continued throughout the rest of the staff. My mother loved it there and this place is without a doubt second to none. They know every persons likes, dislikes and they understand how to make someone comfortable. My mother would rather have been at the Bristol than her own home- that itself speaks volumes for who and what they are!!!!

The staff at The Bristal are beyond compare. They treat my father with love and respect. The setting is clean, homey, and full of activity. Highly recommend!

First it’s important to say for many it is not an easy transition to Assisted Living even with a very supportive and interested loved one. And even with the best facility. Having said that I am so happy that we made the decision to move our Mom to The Bristal and now that she’s been there for 7 months she very feels comfortable and happy. I have found everyone at The Bristal to be helpful and understanding and I absolutely feel we have a partner in taking care of my mom. The caring staff, the other residents, and the beautiful environment has exceeded our expectations. My mom was falling and she was isolated at home - she is much more independent, highly engaged everyday and doing so well. But be patient and know that you will have a great partner with The Bristal.

About 6 months before Mom moved to the Bristal in Mt. Sinai, she was adamant about NOT moving to assisted living. She really was not clear what living there would be like. Unfortunately, the quality of her life began to decline. Even though she had aides at home , she was lonely much of the time, she wasn't eating right, she lacked socialization, she wasn't enjoying the things that she used to. Then she had a hospitalization, and when she came home, she finally realized that assisted living was the next step. As her daughter, I wanted her to be safe, have delicious meals prepared for her, assist her in medications (which she could no longer manage herself), be with other people. We toured the Bristal many times. And each time she liked it better! Jen and Ryan made us ease immediately. This was unfamiliar territory for all of us! I would not say Mom was completely on board, but they treated her with the utmost respect and dignity. She has been there for a little over 2 months now, and I cannot say enough how much Mom has flourished at the Bristal. She joins many clubs, enjoys bingo daily, has been a few bus trips, and is an avid movie goer! She receives physical therapy there and has increased her strength and walking ability! Of course there has been few growing pains, but anytime I need something addressed, it's done immediately and professionally. I cannot say enough about the entire staff--including wellness, the front desk, the aides, housekeeping. They are wonderful people, and they all know my Mom! Most of all, my siblings and I are able to sleep at night ----knowing Mom is safe and loved. I visit almost daily-- because it's so close to my house-and always unannounced. I've never seen anything questionable in the care of residents or staff. Oh-and the place is spotless!!!! So if you are considering a small neighborhood in a beautiful setting for your loved one---consider the Bristal at Mt. Sinai. You won't regret it!

We moved my father into The Bristal in Mt Sinai shortly after my mother passed away. He transitioned there beautifully and is happy there. The staff are all wonderful and friendly. They care about the residents. My dad has his routine, he participates in activities, they clean his room, do his laundry and the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The facility itself is gorgeous, clean, and decorated very nicely. I highly recommend The Bristal in Mt Sinai to anyone looking for a safe and beautiful place for their loved ones. ~Natalie
