My friends mother was treated inhumanely at this facility during her final stage of life.

Unprofessional, owner is rude and greedy. If you love your parents don't put them here!

Horrible experience with my mother. Moved in March 7th and after 6 weeks living there, she spent the next 6 weeks in hospitals before passing at home with Hospice. The administrators there were cold, callous and tried to throw my mother out before she had options on where to safely go to. Angela lied to my face while looking me in the eye. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this facility.

Our mother came to the memory care unit at Chateau of Lawton after having lived happily at Brookridge for about 8 years. She had Alzheimers disease and her condition required additional care so we made the decision to move her to Chateau of Lawton. We were nervous about the move but the move went smoothly. Her apartment at the Chateau was smaller, but it was more practical for her needs. There always seemed to be one registered nurse on duty, The area where her apt was located was in a safe and secure zone of the building. The memory care unit was relatively small and that was an asset in my opinion. That fact allowed more staff per resident for assistance. My mother did not spend her day lying in bed. Everyday she was helped to get dressed and encouraged to participate in some activity and she was given assistance in eating her meals at a table with others. Alzheimers has a way of isolating people and the staff at the Chateau did their best to treat her with dignity and affection .

Privately owned and small facility. Staff knows residents by name and are very attentive.
