When we were looking for an assisted living facility for our brother, we looked at 10 or 12 facilities, in 2 different states. When we toured The Courtyards, it felt different. It felt like home. The staff is warm, friendly, helpful and very dedicated to giving excellent care to their residents. They treat their residents like family. And when there are medical issues that arise, they take appropriate measures to get the best care for their residents. In addition, the facility is very attractive & homey, and there are a variety of activities that our brother enjoys. The staff has been extremely helpful in meeting his needs. We are very appreciative of the excellent care & attention that he has received & he is very happy with his care, the staff & the facility.

When looking for Assisted Living for our relative we found the Courtyard and immediately enjoyed a kind and loving atmosphere. The Courtyard executive director April helped make the process of enrolling our relative very smooth . She was always on hand to answer questions or concerns we might of had at the time. We were looking for a place for our relative. Once we talked to April at the Courtyards Senior Living we knew we had found a great place. The rest of the staff including Michelle and Cassidy have been phenomenal as well. April gave us a great understanding of the community and culture. She walked through the application process and made it so easy. It is definitely the people that make organizations great. We can’t recommend the Courtyards enough.

The Courtyards in Knoxville is really helping my mom enjoy assisted living. April was very good at making sure we understood everything and help me and my mom adjust with the changes we were both going through. Mike and Cassidy have communicated to me about mom and let me know about any needs she has. I felt guilty putting mom there but it has turned out to be the best thing for both of us. Thanks for everything you and all the staff there for the caring and support.

Recently my relative was there for two years and this place has gone down so much. MOST of the staff was friendly but others were so overworked. They all were picking up slack. Food was a disgrace. Most of time not fit too eat. No one available to clean the rooms or laundry. Very poor excuse of Assisted Living for the price you pay. Check thoroughly before moving in anywhere. I thought we had checked but we had not. We were terribly fooled.
