Staff is caring and kind. It is hard to find a place where you can trust the care of your loved one. So happy to have found this place. No one is perfect, but management is responsive and I can honestly say the team is very good.

Whatever you do, DO NOT send your loved ones here. There is so much wrong with this place I can’t even begin to list everything here…my family and I are currently working on getting the state board to “drop by” one day, as well as in talks with lawyers for things that go on in this “community” in which heavily violate the residents rights. Funny how this place recently had to change names and all of its high up staff was replaced but what they replaced it with is just as bad as the ones before..if not worse. The reviews of this place should speak for itself

Do not send your loved one to the memory care here. They admittedly do not have a singular person on their staff who has any dementia training. They left my grandmother in her room for 13 hours unattended. Their solution to that was to take our camera, that we had to make sure my grandmother was safe, away from us. Their idea of an activity is making the residents watch TV. Instead of giving my grandmother care when she was agitated (which is a typical part of dementia), they sedated her with heavy medication that caused her to stop breathing and sent her to the hospital because it was a toxic level for any elderly human being! These "medical" people have zero clue as to what they're doing. Kristie the ED is one of the rudest people I have ever met, condescending, and only cares about money. Shea "the wellness director" is extremely clueless. Their "memory care" is not a memory care at all-- it's a cash grab. Some of the staff here were really great and helpful-- they will tell you no one wants to work here because they don't pay them enough and it is not a good facility.

the leadership here is so clueless. The executive director is out of touch and more interested in getting promoted and making her bosses happy than taking care of our seniors. my meeting with her to discuss my concerns was very dismissing, very insensitive to the needs of the residents. the staff will tell you just how bad it is if you ask (but they look over their shoulder first to make sure the boss isn’t listening)! we moved out and are happy we did. mom told us how terrible it was getting and when she left she was so much happier to move to another community. such a shame

This was formally a five star review. However, about a year ago (July 2023) there was a hostile takeover of the management company. The ED was replaced by a clueless person more interested in brown nosing her new company bosses than running a building. She scared off the sales team, the business office manager, the maintenance director, the activity director, and so much of the nursing staff and leadership. I tried to remain optimistic through this transition, but here we are a year later and nursing is still a mess, they have gone through four different business office managers - still vacant, and there is still no activity director. We also had this amazing physical therapy specialist who had worked in the building since day one, they got rid of his position and he was gone. One year after the transition, the food service manager and the memory care manager are the only two managers that are left from the previous company. She scared everyone else off. I cannot in good conscience recommend this facility anymore. There are some great individual care staff on the floor that work with us regularly. The laundry lady is amazing, but I fear they will get rid of her position soon too. The ED needs to go.
