THE LAKES AT JEFFERSON

The Lakes at Jefferson has been an absolute blessing for our family. The staff consistently goes above and beyond, and the level of care and compassion they show truly sets this place apart. I especially want to recognize Jonelle, who is nothing short of wonderful. She is kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the residents. Her warmth and professionalism give our family incredible peace of mind. Knowing that my father is cared for with such patience, respect, and dignity means everything to us. The environment is welcoming, clean, and supportive, and it’s clear that the team treats residents like family rather than just patients. I’m deeply grateful for the love and attention they provide every day. I would highly recommend The Lakes at Jefferson to anyone looking for a place where their loved ones will truly be cared for. For the people leaving bad reviews you need to stop and realize this is not Jonelle or Ron's fault, these moves come from a corporate level and not at the buildings level, your defaming the character of 2 Human beings just trying to do what they are told! Half of the residents in assisted living belonged in Long Term Care anyways hence the reason for long term care! Defaming someone's character isn't going to change the outcome of your issue, defamation of character is illegal and there are consequences for your actions so beware what you say about people!

The Lakes of Jefferson is such a gem here in Mercer, PA. The property is always beautiful, clean, and well cared for, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. What really sets this place apart, though, is the people. Jonelle goes above and beyond—she is incredibly kind, responsive, and truly cares about the residents and community. You can tell she puts her heart into everything she does, and it makes a huge difference. If you’re looking for a welcoming, well-managed community with a great environment and even better people, The Lakes of Jefferson is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!

Don’t let them fool you! All the recent 5 stars are employees and their family’s! This place has gone down hill real fast! They raised rent by level of care with no notice! Not by 2 or 3% but anywhere from 75-100+ % , no middle class family can afford that! The independent living there is great! But if your family member gets moved upstairs for any reason be ready for lack of care, disrespect, and lots of rudeness! Jonelle is an absolute disgrace to this place. She has totally ruined the lakes reputation. She won’t sit down and have conversations, her way or no way. A year ago I would’ve told you how amazing the staff was but when you walk in and find Jonelle degrading her staff, her residents and they’re family’s, it’s hard to say anything positive! I feel bad for their employees. They deserve to be treated with more respect.

The Lakes at Jefferson is a very nice facility for independent living and personal care….if your loved one needs nursing home care this is not the facility for you. Jonelle, the wellness director is very kind to the residents and definitely advocates for them. The facility provides activities that the residents can enjoy and the grounds are lovely. Pay a visit to The Lakes if you are interested. I’m sure you would be offered a tour of the facility and get any questions answered that you may have!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this personal care home. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth, and compassion from the staff. The staff is attentive to my mother's needs and has made sure she hasn't missed an appointment,or lab draw. They have even transported her and stayed with her to appointments when I couldn't be there- knowing that my mother is safe, and we'll cared for emotionally and socially gives me peace of mind- I highly recommend the Lakes at Jefferson
