Moved my mom here in November. It’s such a quaint place with a nice courtyard so she can actually go outside everyday. The staff is so nice and caring and keep the residents busy instead of laying in their room all day.

I recommend The Lantern at Collegedale. Good accommodations, good food, and great staff. The staff members are very kind to my grandfather and understanding of the challenges he faces with alheimer's disease. They let me know when my grandfather needs something. They let me know when his condition changes. They let me know when the Dr wants to change any meds. They let me know ... because they care. Thank you Bailey, Tiffany, Christina, and Jewel.

The Lantern at Morning Pointe Collegedale is filled with kind hearted individuals who take great care of the residents. The staff there have years of experience and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to taking care of individuals with Alzheimer's and Dementia. When you are looking for a place to call home for your loved ones, the Collegedale Lantern is the place to choose!

It is a huge responsibility to be the person in charge of finding a location for a family member who is needing care and is unable to give input or make decisions for themselves. The Lantern in Collegedale, TN took my dad in as a patient but quickly embraced him like family. Every single employee, from the office to the nurses to the support staff to the kitchen staff to the volunteers, treated my dad with respect and love and every day showed above and beyond care. I spent a lot of time at The Lantern visiting with my dad, and not only did they treat my dad well, but I never saw them treat any patient or family member any less. They have mastered the art of professionalism and relationship. My dad was happy at The Lantern because he felt safe, noticed, and important every single day . He was a difficult guest at times, yet never once did I feel concerned he was going to be mistreated when I left the building. The workers (all of them) are as genuine as you could hope for if you are in the position of leaving a loved one in the care of strangers- strangers who will soon become family! I love every single one of you! I miss you all already! Thank you ALL for loving my dad and keeping him safe in my place!

The Lantern has provided exceptional care and comfort for my father. I am truly impressed by the compassionate atmosphere and the skilled team who work to make it a safe home for those requiring memory care. It is inherently a difficult mental condition by any measure, but the experienced and understanding staff have been wonderful and continually show incredible patience and compassion with both residents and stressed family members as we navigate the journey. The team goes above and beyond to ensure each resident feels valued and cared for while maintaining their dignity and respect. The food service team prepares good meals and adapts them to individual needs as residents transition through phases of abilities. My father likes the meals and also enjoys a sense of community among residents and staff. The living spaces are clean, safe, and comfortable. I particularly like the smaller size of this facility, as more individual care and personal bonds develop than seem possible in larger, multi-story institutions. Dad feels confident navigating his residence here, but I don’t think he would be as comfortable or independent in a larger complex with a larger population. My family and I are very grateful for the incredible staff at this location and highly recommend it for families searching for an assisted facility for their loved one.
