The Lantern is a wonderful community. The staff is always friendly, the building is clean and well cared for, and the food is good. James, the Executive Director, is always welcoming and a great resource. Highly recommend.

As my now 95 year-old mom began to slow down, it became increasingly apparent of the need to find both a safe and entertaining residence for mom to enjoy. What a very difficult decision it was, but I now know that we made the right choice! After almost 3 years living at the Morning Pointe Lantern facility in Lenoir City Tennessee, Mom has said - almost from the beginning - that she loves it there because the food is good, the people are nice and there’s always something to do. What more can you ask for in these golden years of life?? A super thanks to brandi manifold for getting us moved in and to Super Angel Tammy Price!😇😇😇. The professional staff is remarkable in handling the sometimes challenging circumstances. Moms almost three years at The Lantern has been comforting, knowing even though I live a great distance away, she is safe and well taken care of! Gracious angel Tammy sends regular pictures of their fun activities that I am unable to attend including moms favorite part—the animals that Tammy arranges to come visit the residents. From ponies to goats , donkeys to kangaroos snakes and loving dogs, the zoo continues. She even shares her grandson with the sometimes crazy crew! The field trips , games , the fantastic Musicians, dancers and costumed entertainers - they all make frequent stops. With James in charge, Tara as TAmmy’s assistant, great nurse Alex, RAs Carilyn, Emily, Jocelyn brittany, and Kaylee, and others plus , and with Debbie and Trudy up front, it is a remarkable group. Thank you so much for helping Mom make her later years more entertaining, safe and comfortable. I cannot ask anything more. You are the best.

MorningPointe is a wonderful facility. Residents get the attention and care they desperately need. Tammy pours her heart and soul into these residents and genuinely loves them. The activities provided are engaging, and the music is something all levels of dementia patients can enjoy.

We placed our mom in the loving care of The Lantern at Morning Pointe, Lenoir City, for nearly 3 years as her dementia progressed and her needs became more than we could provide. It was the best decision we could have made. Not only did our mom have her physical needs met, the staff there provided her with so much mental stimulation and so much love. Her dementia seemed to level off during her time there and she truly enjoyed all of the fun activities they provided. From the administrative staff all the way to the senior level executive team and everyone in between, it was evident how much they truly cared about our mom and treated her with so much dignity and kindness. It was such a feeling of peace to know that we did not have to worry about mom’s care. We placed her in the best place and it was a true blessing. As we are all aware,, having a loved one with dementia is a difficult time for any family. We’re just so thankful we found The Lantern at Morning Point, Lenoir City, for our mom. It is without any hesitation that our family would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a place for their loved one with dementia.

Overall my experience with The Lantern in Lenoir City has been very good. With the exception of one incident, issues with my loved one have been minimal since her arrival eighteen months ago. The Executive Director, Carol is very caring and always available to answer questions and address any issues that I bring to her attention.
