The Lodge at Wood Village

They cared for my mother in her last weeks of life in June/July 2020, amidst the covid crisis. She was on hospice at The Lantern before she was admitted to Wood Presbyterian nursing home. They did a wonderful job meeting her comfort care needs and were very caring and sympathetic toward us. Although we visited her every day, they notified us when they noticed decline, which gave us enough time to be with her at bedside when she transitioned from this life to the next. We were very grateful for the people there during this extremely difficult period.

Very comfortable conditions for the residents. Considerate employees with concern for the residents.

My mom was there and was drugged constantly. Its easier to take care of folks that are sleeping constantly. I would not recommend this place unless you can be there daily to check on your loved one. I made a big mistake allowing my mom to go there. A decision that will forever haunt me. I give 2 stars because there was a few decent aids employed there, and the overall place is kept clean. Its a sad place for actual personal care of the folks that exist there.

This is the worst nursing home I’ve ever visited!! My family member that was staying there got sick one night and the nurses didn’t even clean it up, they threw a towel over it and left it for the next shift to clean up. They left her there without anyway to contact the nurses station if she needed help. Also, it takes them about three hours to get to someone who needs to use the bathroom!!! I wish I could give this nursing home less than one star. If you love your family member DO NOT send them here!! They will be neglected!!

This place offers Rehabilitations, nursing home and assisting living. The rooms are great and spacious in the assisting living room.
