THE RESIDENCE AT BALA CYNWYD

We, as a family, selected The Residence at Bala Cynwyd as an appropriate residence for my wife after speaking with and meeting with Danielle, and touring the facility with her. Danielle was a font of useful information, and provided direct responses to our questions and concerns. We were comfortable with her helpful input, and it made our decision easier. She was available and responsive throughout our time of decision-making. Information that Danielle provided has been born out by our experience. HS 2/13/2026

I have been a resident here for almost three months, and I cannot say enough positive things about this facility and its staff. My power of attorney, as well as my aide, are both very pleased to be part of such a beautiful, comfortable, professional, and well-managed community. Before moving here, I spent a long time in another setting and did not believe there could be a place that truly cared for residents across independent living, assisted living, and memory care, while still creating a genuine feeling of home. This community has exceeded those expectations. Our decision to move here began with Danielle, who spoke to us with the warmth and pride of someone describing her own home and family. We were equally impressed by Catherine, who seemed to know everyone and resolved issues before they could become problems. The residents here appear happy and well cared for, and the waiting list is a testament to the outstanding quality of this facility. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering senior living options.

I am the POA for a recent resident. She has only been there for five weeks. During this time and prior to her move in, the staff has gone over and beyond to be helpful. I find it to be very well run compared to the facility she was in prior to moving to The Residence. I would definitely recommend having had experience with several other facilities in the area. So far, they have gotten an A+.

Danielle was amazing. Foremost, her empathy, professionalism and commitment to excellence were plainly evident from our initial contact, through ongoing text messages, an emergency reschedule and even her willingness to collaborate and to partner with a colleague due to an industry engagement that.required travel. Her knowledge of industry standards, key performance indicators, objectives and key results put all of my concerns and questions to rest. I told them that my father needed a quality SNF for 6 weeks, before relocating to another country. They sent an agreement for 12 months. The facility is excellent, but I didn’t appreciate being tendered an agreement with a 12 month commitment, when I’d explained that I was moving my loved one to live with me in another country, but needed a safe and competent place to look after his dementia and brain injuries following 4 strokes.

Moving my mother into The Residence at Bala Cynwyd was the best decision that my family made. Meeting with Catherine and Danielle to select a room and learn about the facility set the tone for the beginning of a wonderful experience! They were both very professional, warm, welcoming and provided great assistance in the move. In fact, Catherine even was hands on in helping me the day of the move. Both woman are wonderful assets to the Residence. The Chef, the care staff, the activity director and administration all take great pride in their jobs and are friendly and extremely competent. It is a pleasure speaking and working with everyone at The Residence at Bala Cynwyd with the care of my mother!!
