A Truly Exceptional & Caring Home for Our Mother: Our family is so incredibly grateful to Thrive for the loving and exceptional care they provided for our mother. After experiences with other facilities, finding Thrive was a breath of fresh air. The facility is extremely well-managed, and the quality of care justifies every penny. It’s clear this isn’t just a business, but a community built on compassion. What made the biggest difference for us was the small, intimate size of the community. This allowed for a truly personal experience, where my mother wasn’t just a resident, but a cherished member of the family. The staff were consistently positive and patient with her, and she formed genuine friendships with both the staff and other residents. The activities were another highlight. My mother loved the fun outings, and the on-site activities, like the visiting choirs, support animals, and karaoke, brought her so much joy. The most impactful feature for my mother was the beautiful and accessible outdoor courtyard with its screen-in porch. The freedom to be outside in the sun and fresh air whenever she wished was transformative. At other facilities, she felt the need to escape, but at Thrive, she felt a sense of peace and freedom. This outdoor space made all the difference in her happiness and well-being. We cannot recommend Thrive highly enough. The staff at Thrive were amazing during my parent’s recent illness. Going above and beyond and making them feel loved and cared for. My Dad was very reluctant to even consider an assisted living facility after my Mom passed. He wanted to stay in their home. He became depressed and not himself. We toured a few big facilities where he would have been a number lost in the crowd. When we visited Thrive the "We are a Family" vibe was clearly evident. The staff was fantastic, friendly and professional. We were introduced to some of the residents and all were really positive about their life at Thrive. Thrive at Brow Wood offers personal care at a high level with fewer residents than the big facilities. Let me say this my Dad is like himself again. I now see a side to my Dad that I have never seen. He has become quite an artist and takes part in Thrive's activities and field trips. He goes and exercises, sings at karaoke, attends the men's group meetings, and has become really good at seated balloon volleyball! He calls often to tell me about his day and who came to Thrive to entertain the residents. I can say this I believe Thrive has added years to his life. Lauren, Noah, Chef Chris and the nursing staff are fabulous and very attentive to the residents needs. Speaking of the Chef - the culinary meals are exceptional and not mass produced cafeteria meals. The residents dine together daily and have sit down "we will serve you" meals. My Dad looks healthier and I know he is getting top notch care. If you are considering a place for your loved ones as they age or have needs beyond your abilities then Thrive at Brow Wood is the place you should highly consider. If you don't believe me , schedule a visit and you will be convinced that Thrive is a hidden gem amongst all other assisted living facilities.
