TOWNSHIP SENIOR LIVING, THE

My mother is a new resident at The Township Senior Living in independent living. After only 3 weeks, I can see how much more relaxed and stress free she has become. She's seems very happy there. I truly believe this was a good move for her. The facility is great with many activities to join in. Three meals a day, and wonderful, helpful and friendly staff. The apartments are well kept and quite spacious, and provide all appliances and utilities. The Township far exceeded my expectations.

I enjoy using the pool at Township on the weekends. In midweek, management closed the pool for minor repairs. I called the main receptionist in the independent living section to make sure the pool was open. The receptionist was new and of Asian descent. I'm retired from 25 years of a state agency, where I was considered a senior human resources specialist. The new receptionist was quite adamant that the pool was not open. I explained I have numerous times swam in the pool on weekends. The receptionist for the 3rd time she adamantly told me the pool was not open. I asked her if a member of management was close, she said Emily was there. I asked to talk with Emily,which I did. I informed Emily of my request. She handled the situation very well. She went and checked on the pool, and informed me that I could use it. I understand the new receptionist, is an oriental and not accustomed to asking questions and just continuously (3 times) saying "no" which was how she behaved. Emily represented the Township very well, and demonstrated a good customer relations attitude.

In my line of work, I have never seen such a nice assisted living facility as the Township, and I have visited many. It’s clean, feels like a fancy apartment complex. The dining options are great. Does not feel like a healthcare facility. It feels like home. They also have a strong activities department for the residents.

Township Memory Care provides excellent care for my mother. The home is beautifully kept and bright, activities are always on. Mom says "I love the food!" Grateful for Beth Orsburn, Amber, Tina, Sarah, Zoe, Olea and Dakotah. The whole team is like family to us!

Our mother has been a resident in Memory Care for the last 11 months. The Director (Elizabeth) and her team of care givers are absolutely amazing. They treat the residents with such care and compassion and act as if the residents are their own personal family members. We do not know what we would have done if Mom had been anywhere else during the Covid lockdown. We never worried for one moment that Mom was receiving the best care in every way. Great people. Great communication. Great food and activities. Beautiful facility. They have a private FB page where they post pics so that we can see our loved ones enjoying life. Best place in the 417 for Memory Care!
