TRUEWOOD BY MERRILL, GLEN RIDDLE

My husband has been at Truewood since mid December. We are both overwhelmed by this community. The staff, the residents, the food, are all first class. He has been treated so well by everyone. The staff makes a point of knowing each person by name and interact with all of them. There are so many activities available and I have encouraged my husband to participate. Truewood was a find and only eight minutes from our home. Keep up the good work Truewood.

This facility is excellent. It is located in a beautiful setting and is clean and well maintained. The staff is so attentive and friendly. The general manager will stop to speak with me at any time. The medical team, with the addition of a new physician, are mindful of my loved one’s needs and show care and compassion. I highly recommend Truwood if you are seeking assisted living for a family member.

My mother was here for over three years. Truewood in Media not only was her new home, it was a whole new chapter in her life. She loved the food, all the the staff--from the nurses, kitchen staff, shuttle driver, maintence people and most of the the Director Lisa -- and the new director is also amazing! She went to the live music on most Fridays, played bingo until her sight became too poor, and went to church and bible study -- she even had a boyfriend! Truewood greatly increased my mother's quality of life. I highly recommend them. Thanks to everyone at Truewood in Media!

I’m so grateful we found Truewood by Merrill Gardens for my mom. The building itself is a bit dated and has more of a hospital feel than some of the newer places we toured, but honestly, the warmth of the people here completely makes up for it. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring — everyone knows my mom by name, and you can tell they really look out for each resident. There’s a true sense of community among the residents too, which gives the whole place a comforting, neighborly vibe. My mom has settled in so well, and we have total peace of mind knowing she’s in good hands every day. Plus, the pricing is very reasonable compared to other facilities, especially given the level of attention and care she receives. Truewood was the best decision that we made for my mom’s needs.

Truewood by Merrill, Glen Riddle is a "just Right" personal care facility. My Mom has been a resident for 2 years and counting. Located on the rolling hills of Samuel Riddle's estate, Truewood is a warm and active community. Truewood has a full, daily activity calendar and added activities/events by volunteers that have caught the attentions of the local magazine and TV news. Close to Baltimore Pike (Rt 1) and Pennell Road (Rt 452), Truewood is easily accessible and only a short distance to Granite Run and Media area shopping and entertainment.
