VERO OF O'FALLON, THE

Great, friendly people and cheerful atmosphere! We’ve had many fun family events here and my mom enjoys all the games and activities. She has made many friends living here and also enjoys her relationship with the staff. She feels safe and cared for!

I was visiting a family member who lives here and joined them for dinner. There were multiple servers working the dining room. The skinnier server with glasses and long hair was pleasant and helpful, and another server also stepped in to assist. Unfortunately, the other server wearing glasses was slow, inattentive, and unfriendly, and did very little to help throughout the meal. Service should not depend on which staff member you happen to get. This was disappointing and reflects poorly on the dining experience.

My wife has dementia and I am her caregiver. Currently I am able to take care of her at home. I recently had to go into the hospital for a short stay and had no one to take care of my wife. At that point I started researching assisted living/memory care facilities. I came across The Vero of O'Fallon and met with Paul Anguiano, their sales representative. Paul gave me a tour and then we sat down to discuss my situation. He was understanding, helpful and made me feel comfortable about making this difficult decision. The facility was very clean, very modern and staff was very friendly. There are many facilities in this area but it is staff, like Paul, that make The Vero stand above the others.

We looked at several assisted living facilities before we made our decision. The sales manager, Nicole and her team were very attentive and able to answer all of our questions. My wife put a list of important questions together for us all to ask every facility. The team at Vero were the only ones who could answer all the questions to our satisfaction. Many facilities wanted to know all my uncles financials before agreeing to a rate. We were very uncomfortable with that. The agreement is clear and it is month to month with a 30-day notice to move. My uncle and I are happy with our decision.

Our experience with The Landing of O’Fallon has been excellent. We moved Mom to The Landing Memory Care from a different facility. The quality of care improved signifcantly. Mom lived there for 6 years until her passing, and we could not have asked for any better care in a compassionate, supportive and attentive home. Leandra and her team were amazing, caring for our mom and supporting our family. They genuinely treat residents, and their families, as a part of their family.
