Village Woods

I have had many opportunities to experience the Village Woods community which includes staff and residents. My husband, a retired pastor, led the Vesper service on a number of occasions. It was such a precious time of worship and sharing. I have also had friends who have become residents in the villas and assisted living. Their families are thrilled with the care they receive and how expanded their lives have become with all the new friends and activities they experience at Village Woods. In recent years, I am a part of a local art gallery who provides a monthly free art project for any residents that are interested in participating. The staff are so incredibly supportive! The residents become so engaged in their projects; and, best of all, we have made great friends! The building looks immaculate, the dining room feels like you're eating in a resort, the staff are warm and relational. What an opportunity for senior adults to experience life to the fullest! I highly recommend.

As Mom was having more difficulty living on her own, she knew it was time for a change. Friends and family have lived in the Village Woods community over the years. We contacted them to see if there was a fit. Jennifer visited Mom to discuss the possibility and determine her needs. Soon, a follow-up tour was arranged. Once Mom met with the people and saw what was available, she was ready to move to Village Woods assisted living. That was two months ago. Since that time, the staff, nurses, aides have been wonderful. They have been able to help Mom in so many ways beyond what we could do. We’re grateful for everyone at Village Woods! Mom is settling in to her new home, getting to know her new neighbors. She is thankful for everyone. Village Woods has been a blessing for our whole family. Thank you!

My Mom moved into Village Woods a week ago. The staff has been very accommodating helping us navigate settling a 100 year old into a new community. Everyone from our Marketing Rep to Nurses and Aides, to Front Desk, Financial Office, and Food service have shown great care and friendliness. My Mom is happy and our family want her to be happy, safe, and receive the care she needs as all her children live a day's drive or more away. We are excited to have Mom join this community. They practice their faith and have shown great care. God is good.

My dad has been at Village Woods for over a year now and he has adjusted very well! He has no complaints and neither do I. He has a beautiful view of the pool and grounds from his room and enjoys looking out his window at God's beautiful creation throughout each season. The staff is very kind and accommodating, knows his name and tries to include him in activities. He enjoys the food in the restaurant and is quite impressed that the waitresses have his table ready for him and knows what he likes. My family and I are delighted with Village Woods and the exemplary care and attention they have given Dad. God is good!

My mother has been a resident at Village Woods since 2018. She began in independent living and is currently in assisted living. We were very impressed with the facilities when looking to place Mom after my father's passing. The staff has been very accommodating and their care for her has been exemplary. Village Woods has been able to maintain zero COVID19 residents since the pandemic began. This is a remarkable achievement considering the horror stories at other long term care facilities. The monthly fees are very reasonable for the care that Mom receives. I highly recommend considering Village Woods when in search of a reasonably priced, Christian based long term facility.
