Villas of Holly Brook Chatham

This is an amazing place for your parents. It is very clean, great food and excellent service . From the director to the care team staff, EVERYONE is so friendly, helpful, pleasant and genuinely cares about the residents and all of their family.

My mom has been a resident at the Villas of Hollybrook Chatham for almost 3 yrs. Moving her into an assisted living was one of the most difficult decisions of my life but was the best decision I ever made! She is thriving in this environment and is receiving amazing care!!!! I am a nurse. I am her daughter and I have very high expectations in regards to her care. Hands down I would recommend this senior living home. Because there what it is! Home! And she now refers to it as her home. She is safe! She is content and happy! She is well cared for! The staff are not staff but have become a part of our family and we love them as such! And they care for her as though she is family. The apartments are spacious, bright and homelike! The courtyards are large and enclosed and a safe place for my mom to walk! She has her own nice patio where she can enjoy the weather on nice days. The place is not huge which I love! So many that we toured were so big and lost that homelike feel that I was seeking and found. The food is really really good! Which I know is a huge thing for the residents and a bug complaints at some other places. ! My mom has always loved the food! I’ve eaten with mom on several occasions and the food is always delicious! Let me tell your about the care team! Bobbi our business manager is the total Jack of ALL trades! She is always present! Always involved and always willing to address any issue that or need they may arise! She holds the team accountable and makes sure everything is running smoothly! She has kept the place running smoothly thru staffing changes and for a long period of time when we were without an executive director. She kept the place running seamlessly! Paula is our nurse and let me tell you, you will love her! She is responsive, attentive, so personable, so patient and kind and takes such loving care of the residents! I adore her! And trust her with my one care! She is so supportive of the care partners and they all work so well together which is something we didn’t have with some of the past nurses we had. She guides her team with love and support! Karen is our full time activity director and she had my heart early on! She is such a fierce advocate for the residents! Is fun! Loving! Personable! Flexible! Chips in to help whenever needed and is always seeking ways to engage and entertain the residents! She is SO incredible! And is always a breath of fresh air! Beth is our housekeeper. She works so hard and is so accommodating to meet the needs of the residents and keeps the place clean and nice! Our executive director Theresa is a gem!!!! We finally got the right fit and person for this job after kissing numerous frogs in the process! She is involved! Visible! Present! Helpful! Supportive of the team! Attentive and responsive to needs! She is just what we needed!!!!! Kristina is our new director for good services and I knew her from the past! She has the best interests of the residents and her team at heart! Food is amazing! Mom’s daily care partners I cannot say enough good things about! My mom has dementia and can be quite feisty at times but they always manage her care with a smile! With love! With patience and with respect! I don’t the night shift staff as my mom sleeps well and has not had any nighttime issues but the care partners I do know, I know and love like family. Cassidy, Michelle, Cam, Sabrina, Hope and Bella! They are SO good to my mom!!!!!! And all the folks that work in the dining room are so helpful! I can highly and confidently recommend the Villas of Hollybrook for your loved one! And added bonus we are undergoing a remodel and have new paint and carpet with new furniture and decorations being installed here soon!!!!

to the staff here at villas of hollybrook ur all amazing and karen is wonderful helping others and calling the numbers for bingo ur my 2nd family the residents are also one of a kind to i like socializing and putting a smile on everyone's face :) :) 5 stars but i would say 10 stars if it had 10

Having spent a great deal of time in a number of assisted living (and related) facilities in both big cities and small towns, I attest with first-hand knowledge, that Villas of Holly Brook Chatham has the MOST CARING STAFF that anyone could ask for when it comes to having someone care of an aging family member!!! Earlier this year I made plans to relocate my 96 year old mother to the Villas of Holly Brook Chatham from Cleveland, OH, but we encountered a number of unforeseen setbacks in Cleveland. Paula Dailey, the Wellness Director, supported us through the process, and welcomed us with open arms when we finally arrived! Paula has assembled an exceptional team of care partners, and together they roll up their sleeves to provide the highest level of care and kindness that I could hope for! Their commitment to caring allows me sleep comfortably knowing that my mother is safe and well cared for in every way! With gentle encouragement from the care team, my mother has ventured out into the newly remodeled facility to enjoy the wonderful meals in the dining room, as well as bingo, the hair salon, with more to come! We are very thankful for having the wonderful caring team from the Villas of Holly Brook Chatham come into our lives, just when my mother needs them the most! Sincerely, Howard

My family and I cannot be happier with the care and compassion our mother receives daily from Hollybrook. When we were searching for a place, we wanted the best fit, but most importantly, the best environment where she could be “at home” and we could feel comfortable knowing she is safe and cared for. There were some places that appeared to have all the bells and whistles, but we walked out saying “nope”, because it just didn’t feel right. Hollybrook is such a nice facility, the apartments are spacious and designed well for folks needing assistance, the community areas are beautiful and welcoming. Mom enjoys the meals and the company, the residents who knock on her door to invite her to play Rummy Cube or Bingo, and activity leaders coming to encourage her to participate. Sometimes that is all it takes for her to get up and out. Each room has a double window/door that opens to the residents’ own patio. There are two separate enclosed courtyards where Mom can walk and enjoy the outdoors while remaining safe. Since taking the keys early March, the entire staff has been unbelievably accommodating, and very attentive. They go above and beyond, from the nightly checkins, medicine reminders, meal reminders if needed, and even coming in to help Mom with her compression socks each morning. I live out of state, and have stayed with her a couple times for a few days in her apartment, I walk around the facility, and have always seen positive interactions between the staff and residents. I have talked with quite a few residents both before our decision and during her few months there, and all are complimentary of the staff, whether they have been there for one or five years. Mom was understandably leery about the move because “it isn’t home”, but she continually tells us that it is a great place to be if she can’t be at home, how nice everyone is, how the apartment has her things, so it is hers. We are extremely happy with Hollybrook. I highly recommend you visit if you need to find a great and safe place for your loved one! **BTW: The staff lounge/break room is always wide open when I walk by.
