VINTAGE GARDENS ASSISTED LIVING

My mom, my brother and my sister in law all work at Vintage Garden and I can honestly say that I love this place. If I had to recommend any senior living facility it would be vintage garden. The activities, bake sales and garage sales are always something I look forward to. I love the homey feeling you get when you walk in.

Do not trust Vintage Gardens with a direct deposit. Moved my mom out 3 months ago. Have not received a refund for the half a month left we paid for, or the extra month they billed for after she moved out. Got a letter today saying that due to a billing error 6 months ago they will not be sending a refund, no financial details included. We are owed about $5,600, and 90 days later they say no refund is owed. Had a refund from the hospice facility within 4 days, make your own decisions.

My mom, Harriett Paden, was a resident at Vintage Gardens for four years. She enjoyed the fellowship and friendship with other residents. The transition from living by herself to Vintage Gardens was tough in the beginning, but other residents and staff took her under their wing. The personal care throughout her stay was very strong, friendly and caring. The compassion of the Vintage team was evident even on trying days. In her final days mom was gradually changing and the Vintage team was there for her every phase of her final minutes. Thank you Always know you are appreciated for all you do. My mother stayed in the assisted living Units until she passed away in May. The care here is the best! From the administration to the cooks in the kitchen you could not find a better facility to place a loved one. I checked out several before placing my Mom here and this place is without a doubt the best in the St. Joseph area. (IMO).

I have delivered cakes to the location 2 different times. The clubhouse is beautiful and a great location for an event. The down side is that the person in charge will not return phone calls. I called the office and the girl that answered the phone was not very helpful, she transfered me to the manager and I left a message. I had to call back to talk to her again and she text the lady that is in charge of the clubhouse who still never returned my call. All I needed was to know what time a client had the clubhouse and no one but the lady over the clubhouse had the answer to that. I would think other people would have access to something so simple. If you can some how book the clubhouse it is worth it. It looks like a very nice community over all.
