This place needs work, to say the least. Most of the staff is caring and respectful, however, the needs of the residents just aren't being met. This is supposed to be a home that people come to be taken care of, but that just isn't the case here. Aside from the residents not being treated correctly, the staff isn't! These people are giving their lives to take care of others and I feel as though they should be given the respect and attention they deserve. Not just be treated like they don't matter.

My 91 year old father recently moved from Kansas City to Victorian Place in Washington, Mo. It only took a very short time for him to adjust and get to know everyone. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and want to make sure he is happy. The food is terrific! The housekeeping staff and nursing staff are not only competent, they make sure to make him feel like family. We are so happy to have him closer to us and in a place where he is so happy.

The Victorian Place of Washington and the Arbors Memory Care is one of Washington, MO's best kept secrets (Assisted Living). They have dedicated employees and provide a standard of care that is above and beyond the norm.
