My family has had almost two years of experience with Webster at Rye. Having to place your parents in a nursing home is never an easy situation. The decisions to be made and things to consider can feel overwhelming. Our mother first entered Webster in Spring 2024 under their rehabilitation program after having been in the hospital following a bad fall. Over the next two months she improved a great deal due to the efforts of the staff at Webster. She thought very highly of her physical and occupational therapists. While she was in rehab, the family was updated on her progress, and we got to know the facility, staff and even some residents. Upon leaving the rehab program, we did bring our mother home for three months. At the end of that time, it became clear that she needed full time care. We did consider a few nursing homes, but based on our prior experience with Webster, that became our first choice. I should mention that the grounds are beautiful, and the beach is not far down the road! We have noticed that they continually make improvements to the building, with renovations to rooms and common areas. There is a full schedule with a variety of daily activities available. Our mother has now been in Nursing Care for about a year and a half. One thing that comforts our family is that we can always reach out to the staff, whether it be the medical staff, the social worker, activities coordinator, or the billing office. There is even a monthly support group meeting for family members that we have found to be helpful. Of course, there are going to be issues that come up from time to time (especially with this transition being a life changing experience), but it’s nice to know that we can always reach out to someone to get them resolved. Two months ago, we had to make another difficult decision, of placing our father in a nursing home. Fortunately for us, we were able to place him in Webster, and now our parents are together, which is a great comfort.

Moving my Dad into memory care was an emotional and stressful experience, but the team at Webster went above and beyond to help my dad settle in and feel comfortable in his new home. From the first day we reached out to consider Webster, the staff showed genuine compassion, patience, and respect—not just for my dad, but for both my Mom and me. Knowing my dad is in such a supportive, attentive, and warm environment has given our family real peace of mind. I’m deeply grateful for the kindness and professionalism of the Webster community.

We toured Webster at Rye with the help of their Admissions Director, Shannon who did a wonderful job showing us the facility, all of the activities, introducing us to the staff and overall positioning the facility as an Assisted Living facility one can feel comfortable having their family members reside there. From the beginning, everyone one at the facility was friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They literally take care of everything and this continues after you move into their facility. The site is spotless and has a ton of activities and amenities for its residents. From Shannon in Admissions, to Angel in the Business Office, everyone was extremely helpful and made us feel comfortable from the beginning. Thank you to the entire staff!

My mother-in-law has been at Webster for just over 9 weeks. It was a struggle to get her to accept her move as she had lived independently for 18 years. Now she wishes she has done it sooner and so do I. Webster told me that "The sooner she comes-in the easier her adjustment would be". So true. She has made friends, enjoys participating in all of the activities (There are so many every day), and she likes the food. Webster happily prepares tasty food that meets her dietary restrictions. The nurses are compassionate and caring, especially Jennie Lee, the head nurse. They ensure that she gets her medication on time (which didn't happen when she was on her own) and are supportive when she has "accidents". She was on 12-hour, daily home care before she moved to Webster. The cost now is significantly cheaper. She likes her 1-bedroom apartment and has settled in comfortably. I highly recommend Webster. It has made a huge difference in her quality of life. Steve Franks

Our mother has been here for 2 1/2 yrs in the nursing facility. All the administrative staff, nurses, aides, cleaning and activities staff are great! Our mother has received great care of the years. It has been so nice to not worry about her being alone at home and having the freedom to visit her at any time. The staff work very hard but take the time to get to know our mom and spend time with her. The support groups that are held once a month are very helpful too. The grounds are beautiful and the activities room is always nicely decorated as well as the "puzzle" room. They even hold a mother's day event with food and entertainment that is wonderful and a great memory to have with your loved one. We have requested a special room for her birthday the past two years for a small family party and it was beautifully decorated each time and extremely nice to have the privacy. Melissa (social worker) and Taylor (nursing director) are great at communicating with family. There are some nurses/aides that we would love to give extra praise to but they all deserve it. Keep up the good work!!
