Over a period of time, me and my family have observed and experienced repeated instances of neglect and unprofessional behavior by staff, for example. Residents being left in soiled incontinence briefs for extended periods of time. Medications not being administered as scheduled. Staff speaking disrespectfully and rudely to both residents and family members. A pattern of dismissive or hostile communication when concerns are raised. Threats made to transfer residents to a skilled nursing facility simply because they are physically unable to perform certain tasks independently. This is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the safety, dignity, and well-being of residents. Assisted living facilities are entrusted with providing compassionate, respectful, and timely care. Leaving residents in soaked briefs and failing to administer medications on time not only compromises dignity but may also pose significant health risks. Additionally, threatening transfer to a skilled nursing facility as a response to physical limitations appears punitive rather than clinically justified. Residents in assisted living settings often require assistance with daily activities, and such needs should not result in intimidation. This includes what my family personally has experienced at this facility. I wouldn’t even give a one start rating with how unprofessional they are.

My mother was a resident here and received excellent care from the nurses and staff. HOWEVER, since her passing in October of 2024, the company has yet to refund, or even respond to our requests for her balance to be returned. The management has hedged, lied, pretended to not be on the premises, and finally they agreed to send the request to “headquarters”. Since the change in management, I find the company shady. What else might they be hiding? Essentially, their behavior borders on fraud and theft. Our next move, unfortunately, will be litigation. Very sad that this is how they are operating.

Taking the best care of my grandma. When I come to visit my grandma is always dry, clean clothes, hair comb, nails painted. You can tell they CARE!! Thank you so much for all you do..

The staff is professional, dependable, caring and attentive. They go out of their way to make everyone comfortable. They are very accommodating to special needs and diets and they work hard to make sure the environment is homey and comfortable as well as respectful and supportive. Great facility.

The staff are full of integrity and are complete resident advocates. They truly care for the residents and go above and beyond to provide incredible care. I highly recommend Wedgewood Gardens Assisted Living and would not hesitate for a moment to have my loved ones live there!
