WELCOME HOME PERSONAL CARE

My elderly mother, a dementia patient for 13 years, has been at this home since August, 2024. She was moved here from a large memory care facility b/c she could no longer eat normally. She required a "minced/mildly thick diet". The new owners as of about 4 years ago, Angela and Igor, are personally involved and take excellent care of my mother as if she were their own. They are both Eastern European doctors and bring knowledge of care for the elderly that we could learn from in the USA. Many of my mother's conditions such as chronic edema, UTI's, gut health, and congestion have improved radically due to their approach. They are kind, compassionate, and really brought my mother back for several months. They WORK HARD! My mother now appears to be nearing the end of her time on this earth, and I cannot say enough good things about their approach to dying. Before Dad died he insisted that mom was to have the best of care. His final wishes have been fulfilled for Mom at Welcome Home. As a result of my mother's outstanding care, my Uncle was also recently moved to this facility due to a heart condition. His improvement under their care has been remarkable! My family insists Angela, Igor and staff are miracle workers! I believe they are angels.

So I just talked with the NEW OWNER of Welcome Home Personal Care. She, Angela, is a charm. Very sweet and thorough. MOST rooms have a private bathroom. Medical background. Clean. Nice. Great conversation. Give them a look. They have a bad rap from previous owners. Very sweet people. Very much in practice with loving care. They have pet therapy with goats and bunnies on premises and chickens for fresh eggs. CALL them today.

If you have a loved one who exhibits behaviors due to Alzheimer’s disease, this is not the place for you. They have difficulty or lack training handling difficult behaviors so don’t waste your time. They will sell you that they have years and years of experience with Alzheimer’s patients and all behaviors. This is not the case.
