My mom lived here for 4.5 years. She loved it here. I was very impressed with Keelson Harbour. The rooms are awesome. This place is very clean and beautiful. They have lots of activities for the residents. My mom was in assisted living. She received whirlpool baths 2 time a week. She loved those. The staff were so kind. As my mothers condition worsened they added more cares for her. They were so good about communicating with me and adding cares to her care plans. They let her use and electric scooter which was so helpful. She could get around everywhere in the place with that. Mom played cards and games with other residents. She loved bingo. Kelsey was very easy to talk to about anything going on with my mom. I also love the nurses Heather and Brianna. They were also very helpful. They had great nurse aids. Dwight their maintenance man helped anytime your called him and ask for assistance. My mom only left because she needed more care and I moved her to a nursing home. Bring your parent here. It is a great place to live for your parent. They will meet lots of great friends (residents) here.

Regarding Memory Care Unit. Do you visit your family member to see what happens around there. My father received terrible care. He had a nurse visit prior to admission. I’m not sure Brianna knows her job. If he didn’t fit the guidelines, they had a million chances to speak with us. Once he is there, you hate to move him to another facility, but we finally had to for his safety. One night, he laid on the floor for 3 hours. One afternoon my sister had to take him to the emergency room to see if he broke his hip. Black and blue from back to butt to knee. The nurses are worthless there and some of the care assistants are terrible. They like to do laundry, and hurd all the people living there to the big TV room. It’s freezing out there, big huge TV, that you can’t hear. Icky chairs. The food is terrible. 70 - 80 year old people don’t eat that junk. It looks super nice there, but BEWARE. AGAIN, the RNS are terrible and you learn about the place as you go. Why don’t they have an admission booklet and billing is crazy. BEWARE, BEWARE!

The staff was very friendly and caring to my parents as they make a difficult decision on moving to a care facility. The facilities we're gorgeous.
