WELLER PLACE RETIREMENT CENTER

Weller Place has one of the most beautiful facilities you can imagine! The building is homey feeling and very well-designed. It even has a screened in back porch for its residents. Whoever did the decorating did a really good job. One downside is that they do not really do anything with the residents activity-wise, but that isn’t necessarily a big problem. It would also help if they coated the concrete outside near the door with something softer, to make the area safer for potential trips or falls for the elderly people. One last suggestion and that would be to add a saltwater fish tank! :-)

They are ALWAYS short staffed and always have an excuse for not helping or caring for residents living there. Absolutely NO activities for residents and there is no activity person on staff. They never have any planned social events, such as church services or live music. Meals are often just hot dogs and tater tots, rarely a balanced diet with fruit or vegetables.
