Wonderful place to worship the praise team is great! The pastors are awesome. However, the members could be a little more friendlier to New members or visitors. Trust me, that’s very important because you don’t know what a person is going through and being a friendly person and getting to know new comers are very crucial to making the visitor feel important. Feel loved and want to come back. I have visited this Church at least four times and I don’t know one member name. Church, let’s get back to basic just being kind to one another showing love to one another. And inviting a visitor to your house to have sabbath lunch. Just imagine what a difference that would make.! Peace love y’all.

Metro Atlanta has many Seventh-day Adventist Churches around. Once the powerhouse church of Atlanta, West End has drastically changed a lot. The music isn’t what it use to be and those in charge appear to not put much work into preparing meaningful and inspiring material for the music selection here. Song selections are constantly the same selections, rarely anything new and dated songs from early 2000s or 90s, if not even older than that on a consistent basis. The message spoken is okay for the most part, but it was far better under Pastor Preston and Freeman in my opinion and assistants such as Norwood, Bartley and Frazier. If you’ve never been here it’s at least worth a visit. As a church home, I feel there are better options around however, especially if you’re really wanting to become involved in ministries. West End is notorious for hindering those with a driven agenda to move ministries forward than allowing people with a gift to flourish and move things forward. I’d recommend for those looking for that to check out Atlanta Berean Seventh-day Adventist Church, which isn’t too far from this church. Much better overall worship and a church that’s very involved in the community, ministry and complete involvement of members and even visitors! The people at West End will be very welcoming to you as visitors. They usually make you feel right at home here. Most who visit usually have a good experience. Long term membership I’d just advise to think carefully.
