Westhaven Community

We placed our mom in the care of Westhaven after a life-changing fall that made it obvious that she would not be able to return to living on her own. Although she was only in the care of Westhaven for a very short time before passing, my siblings and I were impressed with the facility, and Breanna, from the very beginning. It was comforting to hear our mom say that she enjoyed her time there as well. The facility has a clean smell and employees who are willing and capable of great things. They were very accommodating when we requested a private room initially for a small family reunion that turned out to be a celebration of life. In the final days of her life, as my siblings and I remained there around the clock, we were provided coffee, water, tea, fruit, and various snacks to keep our strength. They provided our mom with patience, compassion, and affection. She was in hospice care at Westhaven and the nursing staff would promptly arrive every 30 minutes to administer medication to keep her comfortable. God and Westhaven gave her, in my truly honest opinion, the very best nurse that I ever could have handpicked to care for her during her last hours on this earth.
