White Oaks at Spring Street

My mom has been at White Oaks for several months now, and we’ve been very happy with everything so far! She never participated in any activities at her old facility, but she’s regularly taking part in things here. The activity coordinator always has fun things planned for them, including regular activities that families are invited to. The staff is friendly and kind. Kim, the nurse, is so helpful and sweet. And most of all, Cheryl, the director, is exceptional. Over all, we recommend White Oaks.

Our mom has been at White Oaks for just under a year. It's always a hard transition for any family and Love one. We wanted her to be safe , and a feeling of around family as she is used to. White Oaks gives everyone freedom to be you, and no pressure if not feeling it. We like to attend as many activities and Holiday functions ( MANY ORGANIZED ) as we can. I think her favorite time is when White Oaks has a function and they bring in little ones in to sing or inspire them. Love you mom !

Nurses are rude to the residents. Everybody tends to cover for each other. When I visited a couple times residents would wear the same clothes daily. It smells like urine as soon as you walk in. Same activities daily and all they do is watch television.

My parents have been here about 4 months. In that time my mother feels safe. She rarely feels safe. Everyone who works here is friendly, patient, and helpful. The grounds and building are clean and quiet. The size is small which allows for a more personnel experience for the residents and their families. From my first call to today, they told me what they can do for my family and how they can help. They have been true to their words. This has been better than I expected, even on days where my parents are having sundown issues, the staff is all calm and caring. I only have great things to share.

We recently moved my Uncle into White Oaks at Spring Street. From the very first encounter with the staff at the center, the caring and compassionate nature of those we met was evident. The personal attention that was afforded by Uncle during the move-in process was exceptional. In particular, Sam and Cheryl have been excellent communicators and caring leaders. While our experience with White Oaks at Spring Street is very new, we are extremely satisfied so far and look forward to a long and positive support system for our loved one.
