I’ve waited a few years to leave a review to make sure we weren’t experiencing a “honeymoon period” with my aunt’s care. Thankfully, I’ve been highly satisfied. My aunt is diabetic, cognitively disabled, and needs a great deal of extra care. The nursing staff and aides have been beyond patient with her excess prescriptions and are respectful and patient with the application of her ointment in personal areas. WP has always been quick to notify us of anything happening on their campus, for better or worse. Some non-life threatening fire alarm incidences have been handled swiftly, making sure my aunt (a good example of a person who cannot ambulate well on her own), has been evacuated quickly with the other residents. My aunt enjoys living here - she has a good group of friends, and loves the food. WP has helped her lose weight and avoid knee replacement by managing her nutrition. She says the food is still delicious, even in smaller portions. There is plenty to do, and my aunt enjoys sober happy-hours, exercise, music, and having her nails painted! When my aunt was behaving poorly as a room mate, WP was able to separate she and her roomie for a brief time until my aunt was able to correct herself. This was the most comfortable solution for my aunt and the other resident, and ultimately helped to repair their original living arrangement. I’m extremely pleased to say that there hasn’t been a moment that I’ve been worried about my aunt. When she calls me, she’s happy. She likes to let me know what she’s been up to, what her friends are reading, and how her card games have been going. She can be extremely grouchy, and doesn’t have a filter at all - and I haven’t heard any complaints! There are some limitations to personal care homes which you’ll find anywhere. For example, my aunt takes an assisted shower every 3 days, so it is better for family to assist with these when staff isn’t available. December 2025: I visited for a holiday event for the residents. My aunt had a personal restroom accident, and her aides materialized out of thin air to help us change her. They were so sweet, and very empathetic.

This place is nothing but a playground. Pretty much all the staff there are nothing but miserable and do nothing but complain. The bullying and drama is insane. Creams aren't being put on patients. Lot of people don't wear gloves when they change people then administration acts confused when you tell them.

My mom moved here in August of 2023. Since the move, every employee we've met seems happy to be there. Happy staff means happy residents. Thanks for all you do!

My brother is there it is the most inhumane treatment that a human being can tolerate. Diapers aren't changed all day residents are not washed. Food is left on a tray whether they can feed themselves or not. Redidents are never checked on if they ring the emergency bell no one responds Food is all over the floor left in chairs all night at the nurses station.Spend a day there you will never come back.

Excellent care on the pulmonary unit. Very friendly & caring staff. Private rooms are great. Would highly recommend this facility. Not a lot of experience in discharge planning for patients going home on ventilators but provided good, adequate nursing & pulmonary care training. As a side note, bedsores are common on long-term patients confined to bed and/or chairs, but after being there about 3 months, my husband never had even one bedsore. I attribute this to the inflate/deflate mattresses they use as well as the attention to cleanliness of the patient.
