WILLOW BAY SENIOR RESORT

I’d like to give my take on Willow Bay. This was recommended by my mother’s health care agent and I’m glad she did. They have been very easy to work with in every way. The management is very helpful and caring and I’m truly blessed as well is my mother. She has been there for many years and it’s been a pleasure. No place is perfect when it’s your mom but willow Bay has been very receptive to my mom’s needs and works with me very well. Willow Bay has made the best of my moms bad situation.

Words alone can’t begin to express my sincere gratitude to each and every person affiliated with Willow Bay Senior Resort ~ daily T.L.C. you all provide to your residents is such a rare quality that truly sets your facility apart from all others ~ 10 years of caring for Mom ; I wanted to simply say: “you all make a difference” in the most beautiful way and I’m eternally grateful~ Kind Regards

Willow Bay managed to keep all of their residents and staff safe during Covid until August. That's almost 7 months. I know there is a review below this one rating the facility poorly due to Covid, however I want to offer a different view. At least three weeks prior to the governor's lock-down mandate, Willow Bay did just that. They stopped all outings for residents and visitors. The only times residents were allowed to leave the facility was for doctor appointments. That is what caused the outbreak. One of the residents caught Covid during their visit to the doctor. The staff at Willow Bay were able to contain it to only 5 other residents. My mother was one of those residents, and as a consequence, she died. AND I'M STILL GIVING A 5 STAR RATING TO WILLOW BAY! PS TENNESSEE

The staff is very irresponsible they have a COVID-19 outbreak and they are not following CDC guidance. They do not mandate face masks, this was told to me on a conversation from the Nurse and administrator Solomon Matthews today. They can only tell the patients but they will not enforce it. They are not giving importance to social distance, the nurse claimed that the patients are still kissing and hugging each other and the facility is unable to do anything about it. A total of six patients were tested positive last week and I was informed of it on Monday. I have my grandfather who is now Covid-19 positive admitted last night fighting for his life. Willow Wood Bay Senior assisted living facility said that they can’t take any responsibility for the outbreak or for my grandfather. Even though they have been on lockdown since March of 2020. Today is Aug. 19th, they have been well educated as to the gravity of Covid-19. It’s been 5 months to get prepared. Just in case you have a loved one at Willow Wood Bay Senior resort are 4001 W. Hillsboro Blvd. Deerfield Beach Florida. I want to make you aware that they are not taking any responsibility for the health and well-being for anyone, but especially of your loved ones.

Can't say enough for the staff ,nurses etc...that have been taking care of my mom for the past 2 years + what a change I see in mom place is always clean if I ever had issues it was taken care of right away . mom and the residents always seem safe and happy rooms are kept clean and mom is always put together mom is a stroke survor .. Since 2016Early dementia she's come along way lots of prayers and patience been in other places which were great this was close Thanks again to Tammy,Brenda and Shirley,nurses and staff for taken care of my mom God bless you all🙏👍
