Honestly, there’s so many things I can say about this place. There’s an insect infestation that I’ve witnessed first hand that has been brushed off multiple times. Also when there was a small Covid outbreak my grandma didn’t want to leave her room and they said that she was gonna have to pay in order to have her food brought to her because she didn’t want to chance being sick. They also have staff up there that half way do things and that is not okay. My grandma and the rest of the residents deserve the best quality of care and this place is not it. You’re elderly family deserve to be at home with better quality care than here.

This is a great facility and wonderful staff. The staff that have been there have been there for years. They care deeply about their residents. They’re always available whenever needed. The facility is clean and well taken care of. Since it is assisted living the residents have their own apartments and their own space. They are free to decorate or add things as they want, as well as family. The facility allows them the freedom for personal expression. These apartments come unfurnished and family supplies them with their own furnishings. Residents maintain their own apartments and then report things as needed. I hate that there are people, whom do not visit, that are trying to slander this community of residents and the care that is given. It makes you wonder why they kept them there for so many years and would’ve continued to do so, but residents must be a certain acuity to live on their own in senior apartments. That they become angry when they can no longer stay.

My mother in law was living there and we moved her. There were RODENT droppings and urine throughout her room. In her drawers, on the walls behind pictures, on the floor, even in her boxes that were stored in another area. It is disgusting to think that other residents probably are living with this.

Edit: 5 years ago this place was great and I gave it five stars. Currently I’d give zero if I could. The rumors you hear around town are true. Looks good on the outside but the management lacks structure and staff turns over frequently. My grandma was without operational air/heat in her room for months and when her fridge broke it took a over month for a new mini fridge to be installed. The administration has a chip on their shoulder and could use some management classes. The CNAs are overworked and not given respect for the work they do. Overall it’s poorly run and although there’s great decor and pretty brochures, they are a broken organization. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PUTTING YOUR LOVED ONE IN WOODCREST. Review from 2018: Amazing place with awesome staff! They really care about their residents. The facility is clean and well decorated. There are fun activities and lots of common areas for mingling. Some rooms have patios! The food is phenomenal, more like a restaurant than an assisted living home. We moved my gramma here and couldn’t be happier! It’s a wonderful home.
