Woodlands at The British Home

I came here after experiencing several falls and aches, and there was concerns that I might’ve had a heart attack. During my stay, the therapy team has been outstanding, providing constant encouragement and helping me regain my strength, both physically and emotionally. Everyone has been very attentive, and the care has been excellent. The nursing staff has been attentive and the facility is exceptionally clean and well maintain which made my stay Comfortable and pleasant. The only thing I would note is that the food could be improved, but overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of rehabilitation and care.

I came in by ambulance and everything went smoothly from the moment I arrived. The staff went out of their way to make things convenient and comfortable for me ,especially thatI couldn’t sit up in the bed, they went out of their way and brought me in a reclining chair in my room so I could rest more easily. Everyone here was very kind from the Cnas to the nurses. The food was good and the staff was always accommodating to my needs. The therapist team made me feel stronger, worked very well together as a team. Overall, my experience was very positive.

My stay here has been exceptional from day one. They explained to me that I will have a care plan date, and that everything would be explained to me on that date of how things were gonna be moving forward with therapy and other details. Which was nice because I didn’t feel like I was lost with what was going on.. Everyone here has been caring, the Cnas, and nurses have been prompt, and attentive. I must say the food was good. The surroundings were pleasant and everything has been clean. Overall, my stay was truly exceptional.

My husband‘s overall experience at the British home skilled nursing has been fantastic. The staff are truly kind and caring. Everyone addressed him on a first name basis which creates such a warm and personal atmosphere ,the CNA and nurses have been attentive and responsive whenever he pressed the call button they arrive quickly and make sure his needs were met. He was up and dressed everyday which we really appreciated and his OSTOMY care was handled promptly and professionally. The food has been very good and everything throughout the facility has been clean and well maintain.The housekeeping staff are warm and friendly. The physical therapy team has also been wonderful. They worked with him consistently during his four week stay and played a big part in his recovery. We are very grateful for the excellent care and kindness he received.

Their support truly made a difference in my recovery. Everyone addressed me by my first name which added a personal touch and made me feel right at home. I even made a friend during my stay which made the experience even more special. It was a pleasure being here and I would highly recommend this facility to my friend’s family, and anyone in need of excellent care.
