ABODE CARE OF MONROEVILLE

Abode Care of Monroeville has been wonderful for my dad. The staff is always kind, patient, and genuinely caring. Every visit, he’s clean, comfortable, and well taken care of, and they keep us informed and involved. We’re very grateful for the compassion they show him each day. Highly recommend.

My sister has been there for two months. The staff is very caring. Very helpful getting her settled. The activities director is very lively and works hard to engage everyone. We are very pleased with Abode!

BEWARE!! Do not send your loved one here. Pics are much better than reality. Not the cleanest. Workers always looked miserable. Food was horrible because they never had a cook or enough help. No communication when meds were changed or there were issues. When I had a complaint, I was not given the “real” owner’s name/number so I’m not sure who I spoke with. My advice:look elsewhere!!

My father spent the last 2 years of his life at Abode Care of Monroeville. The administration & care takers were very attentive to my father's needs. The staff always commented on how much they "loved" caring for him. He was very fond of them as well. Any requests that I had for my father were met without delay or complaint. Everyone was willing to do whatever I asked for my father. Some of the staff would even leave the facility to go to the store or the pharmacy to pick up a snack or medications for him if I couldn't get there in a timely fashion. The facility was always clean & tidy. There was never an odor of the typical "personal care home." When my father seemed to be nearing the end, the staff of Abode recommended Monarch Hospice. It was the best decision that I ever made. Abode staff & Monarch Hospice worked together to make the last days of my father's life a very comfortable & dignified one. Thank you to all of the Abode administration & staff for making my father feel loved & properly cared for up until his last breath.
