Allerton House at Proprietors Green

After looking at 5 different facilities in the area, I selected Village at Proprietors Green independent living, for my parents and I'm so glad that I did! The most important thing about VPG is that everyone who works there is so kind, caring, and helpful. They go out of their way to make their residents feel comfortable and cared for. That kindness extends to the residents as well. You can tell that the people who live there are happy and they are so welcoming to new people. My parents made a lot of friends there shortly after moving in. Village at Proprietor's Green has a lot of activities for residents to take part in and there's something to do every day of the week. They have bands come in to entertain 2-3 times per week. There are organized games, activities, book club, bingo, movies, indoor bowling, trips out to local restaurants, church services or transportation to church/temple, etc. There really is something for everyone. The facilities at VPG are beautiful and well maintained. I always feel good when I walk in there to visit my parents. My parents live in the Independent Living side, but there is also an Assisted Living or Memory Care section if the resident needs more services. I highly recommend Village at Proprietor's Green for anyone looking for senior housing!

The Village At Proprietors Green, specifically the memory care unit where I frequent as a hospice nurse, is a wonderful choice. The staff of nurses, Certified nursing assistants, Activities directors and staff, Jill in housekeeping, and Mike in maintenance , are all invested and committed in providing dignified cared for Their residents. They are a group of skilled, gentle and kind people. I look forward to being there because the environment is positive And there are often fun, lively events going on. It’s an enthusiastic group!

Proprietor’s Green was a wonderful experience for my mom and me. It is a beautiful facility with friendly, caring staff, many daily activities which Mom took advantage of, and a great dining room with many delicious choices. It was such a relief to know that Mom was well taken care of, interacting with friends, and busy. Thank you Proprietor’s Green!

My parents have been settled in at VPG for a while now and are thoroughly enjoying the community. The management and staff are super friendly and responsive - the environment is bright and welcoming. There's always something fun to do on the calendar each day. Our family feels quite secure knowing Mum & Dad are comfortable, safe and have absolutely everything they need each day. Our collective experience with everyone at Proprietors Green has been nothing but positive and wonderful!

My sister had lost her husband, was living alone and was not doing well. We felt moving her into a community situation would be good for her. We did quite a bit of research and decided on The Village at Proprietors Green. We hit the jackpot ! All of the staff has been kind and welcoming. She was very welcomed and her mood and attitude changed dramatically for the positive. I should also note that my sister has a “difficult side” … when that side randomly appeared the staff always helped her with understanding and kindness.
