Ashland Farms at North Andover

Thrilled with the decision to partner with Benchmark at North Andover. It's been an excellent experience for my elderly mother from the first moment. I tell everyone that she looks like a million bucks and has a new lease on life, especially thanks to the flow of good coffee always available to her! She was made to feel immediately welcome and secure from day one, and that has remained true. In the moments where things doesn't go as expected, the team has been very responsive in getting us to a solution. For such a sensitive and fragile moment in a senior's life, they have been accessible, patient, optimistic, and kind. I'm grateful.

Our dad recently passed at age 93 1/2. He had a great life and was able to enjoy his last 15 months at Benchmark at North Andover (Ashland Farm). Half of that time was spent in their traditional assisted living where everyone knew his name, recognized his family, offered numerous activities and field trips, and helped with his daily needs. And he loved the food! He was in the memory unit for his last 7 months as he gradually declined particularly with his dementia. He was always treated respectfully and joyfully. Benchmark staff coordinated with his PCP and eventually with hospice. They communicated regularly with his family and ensured that we were welcomed and able to enjoy our visits. We will be forever grateful for their support.

The staff on the Memory Care Unit was outstanding. The Executive Director, Director of Community Relations, the Mind and Memory Director and the Traditional Care Director were wonderful, always willing to take time to listen and address our concerns. I would have assigned 5 stars but the food on the Memory Care Unit was not great.

Posting this for my father. Since making the decision to move to an assisted living facility we began by visiting 5 different facilities. We chose Benchmark of North Andover (Ashland Farms) because we immediately felt welcomed and comfortable. Within two days of moving in staff knew our names greeted us often in the common areas. One resident would stop by our table every morning during breakfast to see how we were doing and to ensure that we knew about the activities planned for the day. Many other people who asked me questions about the facility are now residents here. Bob Lovell

Wonderful Open House put on by Benchmark last night. Staff went above and beyond to make residents and family feel welcome and comfortable! Maureen as always out does her self and Julie and her team were fantastic!
