Billerica Crossings

I can’t say enough about the compassionate and respectful care that my dad received in the harbor unit at Billerica Crossing. He lived there for about six months and just passed away at the end of December 2025. When my brothers and I went to visit him we always found him well taken care of. The staff treated him with dignity, respect and compassion, and it was so nice to see. During his final decline the nurses were so great to us and made sure that dad had every comfort. The room that he had was perfect for him, a one bedroom unit that allowed us all to be with him at various times.A huge thank you to all the staff for taking such good care of him!

I can't say enough about the place. My dad absolutely loved everything about it. The food is fantastic, the staff so warm and welcoming. Thank you to everyone at Billerica Crossing for taking such great care of my dad.

It was a tough decision the day our family decided that our 96 year old mom needed more care and had to move from her home of 60 years into an assisted living facility. We had scheduled several tours at various Assisted Living Facilities, but cancelled them all after seeing Benchmark at Billerica Crossings. It was the perfect place...friendly staff, perfect size rooms and extremely clean...and the food is wonderful. The community of residents our mom quickly became a part of gave her a new sense of purpose. She participated in bingo games, music concerts, religious services, exercise classes and holiday activities. I can't emphasize enough the kindness from the entire staff...the directors, nurses, aides, desk receptionist, dining area staff, cleaning crew...they all treated our mom as a person with respect, dignity and kindness and most importantly she was safe. Sadly, our mom passed recently. The empathy shown to us was so overwhelmingly heartwarming. Several attended her funeral services. I cannot describe into words how grateful our family is to everyone at Billerica Crossings for taking such good care of our mom!

Our entire experience from start to eventual move in has been absolutely outstanding. The entire staff, and I mean the entire staff, has been kind, courteous and professional. Our mother has some memory issues and the staff has been helping her adjust every day. They are a pet friendly facility, which is huge as my mother would be lost without her little Maltese companion. A number of residence also have their cat companions as well. I highly recommend this place.

Benchmark at Billerica Crossing is amazing. My mom needed assisted living/memory care and i looked at places nearby. I have friends that have had their parents there and heard great things. My high expectations were surpassed. I reached out and was contacted promptly by Sarah Boulos, Director of Community Relations. She is great and toured the entire facility and explained every detail thoroughly. The facility has recently been renovated and is absolutely beautiful. From the main lobby to the dining area, it is gorgeous. I spoke to Sarah several times and she made moving my mom there as easy as could be. Michelle Ellis, Executive Director walked me through the paperwork and all the associated details. After move in they both came to my Mom's room to welcome her to her new home. Every staff member was polite, helpful and welcoming. I'm sure I'm leaving few out and sure there are more that we didn't have the change to interact with yet, but we had the pleasure of dealing with Ada and Nancy at the front desk, Ed who helped with my mom's care and assessment, Joe who helped maintenance, Jennifer the care nurse, all the nurses and assistants and Miguel was great too. If your loved one is in need of assisted living/memory care, you owe it to yourself to visit this beautiful facility and amazing staff.
