Brandywine Senior Living At Seaside Pointe

My father is currently residing in a memory care unit at Brandywine Seaside Pointe. He had been in the hospital and I was only given a short amount of time to find a care facility for him after discharge. After looking at a few places and then seeing Brandywine, it was clear to me that it was where I would like my father to reside. The room he has is large compared to others I had seen. The facility itself is bright and cheerful. Also very clean and well kept. They accommodated me with moving him in quickly and since it is so close to my home it is very easy to visit often. The nurses and aides are very warm and friendly. I appreciate the attention and kindness they have shown to my father as he makes this transition. They are prompt to respond to requests and also keep me well inforned. It has been a difficult decision to make for an elderly parent with dementia but I feel that he is the best place to receive the care that he needs and be safe.

My dad has been at Brandywine for a month before he got sick and had to go to a rehab hospital for 42 days. He is back at Brandywine and expressed just the other day how much he likes it here. Food is great, staff are friendly and helpful, and above all else, he is content. Although he doesn’t engage much with other residents, I try to get him to go to the activities they have. They even have a happy hour with wine everyday at 3 p.m. I’m happy we found a nice place after moving him from NY to DE.

I was contacted from a company in California to teach a group class at Brandywine Seaside Pointe . Having been an instructor with 40 plus years teaching groups tennis and pickleball I agreed . I didn’t expect it to be so much fun! The staff are super organized and prepared. The residents are in place when I arrive and looking forward to starting the class . I myself enjoy teaching them and I’m am so happy I took the opportunity to do the group at Seaside Pointe ! Thank you Executive Director Terry , staff and the fun residents !

One of my ladies I use to help out moved in there. Molly Hall made the transition so easy for her and is so knowledgeable about Senior Living. Brandywine is a beautiful Community and very caring staff.

The best ALF in Rehoboth Beach, De., I’m so happy my Mother is there! Residents regularly engage in social activities and making purposeful crafts!
