Absolutely no legal parking spaces available anywhere on or near the facility. Furthermore, there is widespread illegal parking which affects visitors and possible responding emergency vehicles.

Brightview has been a great assisted living choice for my cousin. They took him in 3 years ago when his former AL in Cambridge couldn’t handle his needs after a fall and rehab, and they assured me that they always try their best to see the members of their community through to the end. And they did that for my cousin, who passed away last weekend, recognizing when we should apply for hospice and arranging that, arranging for a private nurse to be with him when needed. I had just moved to CA and it was such a relief for me to be able to check in almost daily with Susan at the front desk, who always kept an eye out for him, Vanessa, the nurse who managed his care, and Lisa, the nurse who took over in his last 24 hours, helping me to FaceTime with him to say goodbye when I couldn’t get back from CA in time, making sure that someone was always with him in his last hours, guiding me through the things that needed to be done, and even packing up the few personal effects I wanted to save and arranging to donate and clean out the rest, saving me a belated trip back to MA. Along the way, my cousin had enjoyed gathering for meals in the dining room, for frequent music events and other activities, and even, although he was wheelchair-bound, for some shopping excursions. I’m grateful to Brightview Arlington and all of the staff there for providing such a caring community for his last years!

Brightview has been a wonderful home for my mother-in-law, and we are deeply grateful for the care she has received there. The entire staff is compassionate, patient, and attentive, treating every resident with genuine respect and kindness. Lisa, the memory care director, creates a warm and welcoming environment and is a strong leader. Vanessa and the healthcare team consistently provide thoughtful guidance and expert care. At Brightview, residents are embraced like family, and their unique talents and interests are thoughtfully celebrated. Knowing my mother-in-law is surrounded by such caring people gives our family great peace of mind. Natasha Buckley

I have the honor of visiting the residents at Brightview Arlington on regular basis to share music. Every visit, I get see happy residents enjoying a program or visiting with family or engaging with the kind and caring staff. Robin and Lisa are fantastic activity directors who love what they do and are always finding new ways to celebrate the residents. On my most recent visit, I had the privilage of serenading the residents during the 'birthday social' and we all had fun in the bistro area and enjoyed music and birthday cake! I LOVE this amazing community and am thankful for ALL the staff who bring so much joy to the residents. Thank you for all you do🙏🙏❤️❤️

After a long time of my mom being in a nursing home that did not give her good care, let alone dignity and respect, my family and I transferred my mom to Brightview Arlington.. She was placed on the 2nd floor Enhanced Care unit. The day of my mom’s departure from the crappy Nursing home she was at, a nurse informed her that she would not do well at Brightview and would not receive care. So to say she was nervous and scared (85 years old, and confined to a bed and wheel chair) is an understatement. Within the first 15 minutes of her arrival at Brightview my mom was a new person, or her old self I should say. The staff filtered in and introduced themselves and were so very kind affectionate and caring, she was so happy to call this her home. Lisa Sabatino was PHENOMENAL in looking after my mom and her care. Her care takers were always smiling and encouraging my mom to do more and eat more which she did. In addition Lisa made herself available to my family 7 days a week and made sure that my mom’s needs were met, whether they be emotionally, or physically. Lisa is truly Wonder Woman!!!! She was 100% all in for her patients and made sure they had the best of what they needed. Staff was again so friendly encouraging and patient. They treated my mom like she was their own mom. My mom passed away a few months ago. No one wants to spend their last moments in a nursing home, unfortunately for many they will. However for those last days or months or years, whatever they may be, they should be treated with kindness, compassion, and professionalism. Brightview Arlington gave her all of this. My mom passed in her “Home.” And she knew she was loved and cared for. To that end, my family and I could not ask for anything more. We will forever be grateful to Brightview, Lisa Sabatino, and all the staff for their kindness and compassion. I only hope when it’s my turn, god willing the caretakers I have are at least half as good as the Brightview team.
