Communication, seriously, lacking, new activities directed doesn’t know how things were done before it would help her to know and if she chooses to change things, I think that would be up to us not her or at least have a dialogue so we would understand one another

All The negative comments are actually true. I Toured this place - staff were visibly defeated, building was in need of serious up keep, and residents looked like prisoners. I asked point blank about the things I saw- the response was - we are sending someone from corporate to help - lol turns out, that person never really ever visited- is all talk and no real world experience that is actually needed / like how the little things matter - paint - vacuum- sun shine and treating the folks who live there like it’s their home and not that they are in prison. I think they are on their 3rd or 4th executive director search in 12 months - Brookdale should fire every executive that has ever overseen this place. What a disgusting way to treat the elderly

Brookdale, Cape Cod has such a welcoming feeling the minute you walk in you can just feel the good vibes in the air. I was so impressed with the center the staff was very welcoming and I must say they are very lucky to have such an amazing executive Director Elise.Cecil. Elise is just lovely and was very thorough about everything in the community and so helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to have a family member move in to Brookdale, at Cape Cod.

Very happy with the loving care my friend gets at Brookdale Cape Cod. The staff in the memory care unit are very attentive to everyone’s individual needs and they do an excellent job of engaging residents in a wide range of activities through the day. And they have a great chef and the meals are exceptional.

I especially appreciated the automated sign in system which takes temps without using a thermometer. The receptionist had a non judgmental attitude about the mask wearing and Simply asked if I needed one. No other private information was required. I would give it 5 stars if there were no questions asked about my health status or Covid symptoms.
