BROOKDALE LITTLETON

My mother truly loved being at Brookdale Littleton the 4½ years she spent there. She grew to love so many of the staff who had a part in making her last years very fulfilling. The staff took such good care of my mother, made her feel at home and provided many opportunities for socialization. They always made me and my siblings feel welcome whenever we visited my mother. The Executive Director, Eric, Nurse Cody and business office coordinator, Jessica were available and willing to answer any questions or concerns we may have had. The Brookdale Littleton staff, along with Ashley from Bloom Healthcare and the Bloom Hospice team were such a tremendous help and comfort when we were navigating the various stages of our mother's end-of-life care. We will always be thankful for the compassion and dedication of those who had an intricate part in our mother's life.

My mom lived at Brookdale Littleton for 6 1/2 years. She liked the small facility and home-like feel. Private rooms make it feel like their own space. She participated in activities and recruited new residents into her game circle. She was independent most of the time but there were a few times after falls that she needed more help. Staff was helpful and caring during those episodes. During her last two weeks of life they were compassionate and gentle with her and supported me through intense emotional times. This facility is worth your consideration.

Brookdale Littleton is a nice small community that really cares about their residents. My mom has made friends and is a lot more active and involved since moving in. She loves her breakfasts and has actually gained some weight! The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This community is a gem! We looked at several places for my mom and I have never once been disappointed in the selection of Brookdale Littleton. Executive Director Eric; Wellness Director Cody- and the entire staff are simply amazing. My mother was cared for with professionalism and kindness every minute of every day. Her care was unparalleled. The activities, the meals, every detail is focused on the joy and comfort of the residents and their families. The caregivers gave their focused time and attention to care to my mother with compassion, competence and dignity. She felt seen, which is critical for the aging. I am deeply grateful for the exceptional support and grace given to my mother, and to me. Any aging family member will thrive in the arms of Brookdale Littleton.

The entire staff at Brookdale Littleton was fantastic during my Mom’s stay which was for about 16 months. They quickly made her feel welcome and became friends with many. She spoke often about how nice everyone was to her and how she liked the facilities. She also raved about the food. As a family member, everyone also made me feel very comfortable while visiting but more importantly, gave me confidence that she was in good, caring hands. Even though I was able to visit a couple times each week, I knew when I was not there, she was being treated well. It is so important to have faith that everyone has the best interest of the resident and the family in mind. I always felt that way while my Mom was with Brookdale in Littleton. I can’t imagine how difficult it is to be a caregiver. But it is such an important role and everyone at Brookdale recognizes the impact they have on the lives of residents and families. Thank you.
