I am deeply disappointed by the quality of care and dining services at this facility, especially considering the price of nearly $8,000/month. Many residents, according to conversations, are unhappy & have been looking to move elsewhere. The overall dining experience is consistently poor, and the food quality is far below what should be expected from an assisted living community. Meals are often nearly inedible: squash soup is watery, biscuits overly salty, and both chicken & red meat are so dry they can’t be chewed. Breakfast items, like English muffins, arrive well after the rest of the meal is finished. Pancakes crumble from dryness & are in-edible, and dinners sometimes consist of nothing more than 1 piece of French toast, 1 pancake, and 2 strawberries. Portions are extremely small, leaving residents hungry and lacking nutrition. When residents ask for additional food, they’re told there is no more (i.e. recently residents asked for an extra English muffin & were told there’s no more) Unlike other facilities, Christopher Heights does not offer multiple meal options, so residents here often must accept the single dish served or settle for runny eggs. Requests for alternative meals are frequently forgotten, leaving residents without anything to eat except an extra biscuit. In one case, a resident’s Thursday dinner that was missed was served to them for Friday dinner, soggy and unappetizing. Many have resorted to living off peanut butter and jelly, which is unacceptable for a senior care environment. Basic items such as mayo, jelly, and condiments are limited to a single packet, and when residents ask for more, they’re told no more is available. Coffee requests are routinely ignored, and most times, never brought at all. Bread is consistently dark, hard, and unappealing, with no variety. There is no fresh fruit (fruit cups do not count) or salad options, further reducing nutritional balance. Also, the dining staff will remove plates prematurely, even when food is still on them. Overall, the combination of poor food, limited portions, lack of choice, inattentive service, and the number of residents who are unhappy paints a deeply concerning picture. For the cost, families expect dignity, nutrition, and responsiveness—not frustration and hunger. I cannot recommend this facility based on what I’ve witnessed and heard from multiple residents.

Two years ago my family searched for assisted living facilities in Central MA for our Aunt. Christopher Heights Webster provided a helpful tour and presentation that showed a caring environment. They have delivered on those promises each day since she arrived. receives quality service from every staff member and manager. They are phenominal, help with any request, provide choices for her meals, entertainment and use of the facility (inside and outside the facility). She has been to cookouts, field trips and medical appointments with full satisfaction. When needed by her, CHW has assisted with financial needs and plans, kept the building immaculate and every person entering the building is made to feel welcome by the receptionist. We could not be happier with her residence at Christopher Heights of Webster.

We needed a place for my mom to go, a place where she could be safe, a place where we knew the staff and people would make her feel welcomed and keep her engaged and a place where us kids could have immense peace of mind. From the moment we walked into Christopher Heights you just get this warm feeling, I was surprised at how warm and kind the staff were. Four months later and the staff are as friendly as the day we first walked in. Everyone is smiling, everyone says hi and this includes not only the staff but the residence as well. My mom at first did not want to leave her home, she was very persistent about not going into assisted living but for her own safety and the fact that she has Alzheimer’s it was the best we move her from her home. On the first couple of days mom was a bit depressed and was extremely disappointed with us kids for moving her from her home. About two weeks later she was asking if she could stay there longer! Four months later and she will still tell us nearly every day “Everyone is so nice, I haven’t met one person who wasn’t nice”. She likes the food very much, eats everything on her plate and also enjoys the activities that she is involved with. Thank you CH for everything you have done and helped us with!

Christopher Heights of Webster is an amazing place. The grounds and apartments are immaculately kept and the staff is caring and attentive to the needs of all their residents. They are willing to work closely with you on everything from managing the financials to insuring your loved one is happy and cared for. They schedule many activities for residents and stress emotional health just as much as physical health. I cannot recommend Christopher Heights enough!

In our first attempt at Assisted Living for my mother, we have found that the facility is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Christopher Heights allows residents to live their later years gracefully. As family members interacting with management, it has been our experience that questions and concerns are addressed in a timely fashion. My Mother loves her private room, which has a lovely view and allows her to live among her own belongings, maintaining a sense of independence. She has repeatedly complimented the food services. Most importantly, I trust that my mother is safe and well cared for. A number of staff members are attentive and thoughtful of her individual needs.
