East Village Place

East Village Place you saved my life! EVP was the best place for mom. Everyone there is so kind and welcoming. The staff is special. You can tell they care about their residents, and each other. The energy is good! I felt tremendous peace knowing I had a team like them helping me care for my mom in her golden age. Much love and gratitude!

East Village Place is a small, well managed assisted living and memory care facility. The residence is very clean, well lit and kept, with court yards, a library and daily activities. Resident's meals are generous in proportion, well made and choices are offered. Dietary needs and eating abilities are well tended to. But it's the staff that sets it apart. Many CNA's make their careers there. They are compassionate and work hard to make a resident's day as engaged as possible. Moving a loved one from their home is stressful, requiring much thought. At East Village, your family member will be lovingly cared for in a dignified and engaging home.

My mom has been a resident at East Village Place for 7 months. The plan for her elder years and her preference, was to remain in her home with in-home care. Her needs progressed to the point where we needed to seek residential care to assure her safety. Moving her from her home to residential care was not easy. However, she made the transition surprisingly well, as did our family. We found the right place for her. East Village Place is a lovely, well cared for residence that offers two levels of memory care. It is well staffed by the most dedicated, attentive caring staff possible. In addition to the exceptional personal care that she receives, the meals are well prepared, offering a nice variety of options, and the social aspect and activities are amazing. The medical staff knows each resident well, and is always attentive to their well-being. There is a strong culture of dignity and respect for all associated with East Village Place; residents, their families, staff members. Most importantly, my mom is safe and very happy. Our family has peace of mind knowing that she is in the most caring, capable hands. The staff has a wonderful connection with my mom and all of the residents. Joan is just one of the staff that go above and beyond in their work, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

My favorite thing about EVP is Judy and Charlotte, who run the activities. They are the kindest, most enthusiastic people I have met. They alway have a smile on their face when dealing with the residents! They make EVP, better!

My Mother in law and brother in law are both residents of East Village Place. We couldn’t be happier with the facility and the staff. Once you become part of the East Village Community you truly are considered family. We were very nervous putting them into a memory care facility but the staff was so kind, caring and warm it put our minds at ease that we were doing the right thing for them. They have both been there for more than a year and are thriving. My mother in law has friends and loves to attend all the activities they provide.
