Herrick House

We just finished a tour of Herrick House and were extraordinarily pleased with the facility, staff, and ambiance! The staff were universally pleasant and polite! The chef introduced himself to us. The staff greeted almost everyone by name. When one is considering long term care, every pleasant experience makes a big difference. Located behind Beverly Hospital, Herrick House was woodsy and serene, but quite close to town, train and highways! We will definitely consider this lovely place!

My mother was a resident of the Herrick House for over 15 years. Initially, she didn’t want to leave the house she had been in for over 40 years, but once there, she found she loved the social aspect that she had been missing for so long. She participated in several activities and was rarely in her apartment! The facility is beautiful and as she needed more care over the years, the staff was amazing! Everyone from the aides, the housekeeping staff and nurses on up to the Executive Director - all became our allies and eased the burden of her care. I would highly recommend the Herrick House to any family looking for high quality home-like care for a loved one.

My mother, Anita Berg, was a resident at Herrick House for more than four years until her passing this year at 97 years old. While there, everyone couldn't have been more caring and loving. And I include the entire staff, from the receptionist when you came in the front door to Nancy Moore, the Executive Director and Paul Rapazzo, the Assistant Executive Director. Housekeeping, kitchen and serving staff, activities, nursing and maintenance personnel always greeted residents warmly as they encountered them throughout the day. There's no question in my mind that my mother was healthier six months after she moved in than before she moved in and that the Herrick House Community added life to my Mom for which I will always be grateful. I unequivocally endorse Herrick House and recommend it to anyone.

My grandmother's experience at The Herrick House was excellent. The care and attention she received was outstanding from each and every staff member. We are extremely grateful she was so well cared for every day. Herrick House truly goes above and beyond in ensuring a great experience for residents and their families.
