Moving to Keystone was quite a decision, especially for my husband who'd lived in our home for over 60 years! We already knew Keystone through a friend, which was a plus. For me, the transition was easy – I was ready two years prior! It's truly decreased my stress. I don't feel so alone, and the community is incredibly supportive. My husband, who isn't very mobile and has anxiety, really benefits; he knows help is just a button press away, and socializing at dinner makes a big difference for him. The activities are plentiful and fabulous – our activities director and her staff are amazing! The residents are so accepting and helpful. When I had surgery, my neighbor stepped up and helped my husband get to the dining room for weeks! The staff, from housekeeping to the wonderful young wait staff, are all so friendly and caring. They deal with elderly residents in the most respectful way. The food is good, with plenty of options, especially the salads! I would never have any problems recommending Keystone Commons senior living community. It's a beautiful, wonderful, and welcoming community. The support here is hard to beat!

As a family member of a resident in this facility, I am compelled to bring to your attention several concerns regarding the care provided to my mother. Specifically, she has expressed frustration with the excessive noise levels, including laughter and slamming doors, in the hallways. The food quality has been consistently poor, with cold meals being served, including breakfast. My mother has also been served hard waffles and has not been provided with meal options. Moreover, despite her lactose intolerance, she has been given lactose-containing products. There have been issues with personal belongings, including misplaced or mistakenly given clothing. I have observed other residents wearing my mother's clothes, and some of her clothes are missing. I also overheard a staff member discussing the disposal of another resident's medication due to concerns about administration. Although the facility appears well-maintained, I believe these issues require immediate attention and inspection. I am planning to relocate my mother to a different facility as soon as possible.

I can't say enough good things about Keystone Commons, where my mother was a resident until recently (she had to transition to a higher level of medical care than assisted living could provide). Mom is not the easiest person to get along with, but the staff here was so helpful, warm and compassionate - genuinely focused on the needs of the residents. It's not just lip service! After the ruthless corner-cutting of the two corporate-owned assisted living facilities mom has lived in, the proactive, personal touch at Keystone Commons made a huge difference in both the quality of care and my mother's state of mind. Not only was Keystone better run, it was less expensive since we weren't being nickel-and-dimed with add on expenses like Internet, phone, TV etc. (all of that is included in the rent at KC). It's spotlessly clean and peaceful, with a wonderful outdoor space for regular concerts and other activities, and everyone from the front desk receptionist to the caregivers, activity coordinator and maintenance folks was a joy to interact with. We'll miss everyone there very much, and I recommend Keystone Commons wholeheartedly to anyone looking for the best care their loved ones can get. Thank you!!!!

It has been one year since we moved our mother into the memory care unit at Keystone commons. Transitioning her to an assisted living/ memory care unit was one of the most difficult decisions that my family has faced. As I look back now I realize that it was one of the best decisions that we could have made for her. I cannot say enough about the facility and the staff. I have not seen my mother so engaged and happy in a very long time. Whether she is participating in an activity such as cooking, singing, yoga, or getting a manicure or just relaxing in the common area listening to music she is living life again. The facility is impeccably clean and the grounds are beautiful. The food is delicious and I am able to order and join her for meals when I visit. The menu is vast and there is something for everyone. The staff, of all levels, is professional and compassionate. They know her by name and are always first to say "hello Joyce". I want to thank all of the staff at Keystone commons for their exceptional care. I now have peace of mind knowing that my mother is in a safe and caring environment and most of all, she is living life again and smiling.

The Memory care unit at Keystone Commons is nothing short of outstanding! Making the decision to move a loved one from the family home is never easy. However, all the staff members have truly made this transition a positive experience. The hands on level of care is exceptional and while Mom will never recover from her Dementia/Alzheimer’s the staff has great skill in interacting and caring for her. The staffs ability to get her involved in a variety of daily activities from baking to yoga has greatly improved her quality of daily living and alertness.
