Choosing memory care for a loved one is one of the hardest decisions you can make, and I can say without hesitation that Laurentide Avita Memory Care has exceeded every hope we had for our mother’s care. They truly care for her the way we would. She is treated with dignity, patience, and genuine affection every single day. The staff know her as a person—not just a resident—and it shows in the way they speak to her, engage her, and ensure she feels safe and valued. My mother is actively engaged in multiple activities that keep her stimulated, social, and happy. There is always something meaningful for her to participate in, and it brings me so much comfort knowing her days are filled with purpose and connection rather than isolation. Most importantly, she is safe. The environment is secure, calm, and thoughtfully designed for memory care, and the staff are attentive and responsive. I have complete peace of mind knowing she is protected and watched over with care and compassion. We am deeply grateful to the entire Avita Memory Care team for loving our mother so well. We highly recommend this gem of a community where our Mom has been a resident since Nov., 2023 -- first in Assisted Living, then Avita Memory Care, and now on visiting hospice. The well-designed and maintained facilities, many common areas including 2 lush courtyards, great meals, variety of engaging activities, generous staffing levels, and transparent fee structure are definitely pluses. But, the exceptionally caring and attentive staff are the real difference makers. Residents and their families are fully supported with compassion, dignity, and respect in pursuit of their best possible quality of life. Laurentide’s smaller size fosters an “everybody knows your name and is looking out for you” culture embraced by staff member across all roles in this welcoming community. That philosophy is also reflected in the residents who seem to go out of their way to look after each other. Laurentide was an amazing place for my dad! We needed a respite solution and Laurentide delivered 110%. He was integrated into the social network immediately and the staff were so caring. Laurentide is truly a place where everyone knows your name. My dad became healthier, happier, and more functional throughout his stay. Every member of the staff was caring and compassionate and kept me in the loop all along the way. Support and information was literally a phone call away. We wouldn’t have been able to weather these last few months without Laurentide’s welcoming spirit and dedicated team of professionals.

My mom moved to Laurentide in Mashpee almost a year ago. Her experience with Laurentide has been wonderful! The staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating. My mom loves to live here. “The food is good!” she said. She has made friends and enjoys all the activities they have for the residents. Sometimes it’s hard to get ahold of her because she’s so busy! But that’s a good thing!

My mom moved into Laurentide this past October. The community here has helped her transition and help her feel like Laurentide is her home. Everyone has been very welcoming and supportive. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My mom finds all the activities entertaining and uplifting. She also enjoys the accessibility to the greater community with outings to include shopping, entertainment, and even dining out! Every day we are grateful she is being treated with kindness and respect in an amazing community!
