It is a beautiful facility. The main building. My grandmother stays here and she’s more in the assisted living area of it in the main house. But let me tell you sometimes we go downstairs for dinner or sometimes she will get takeout. And when I go and visit her, she’ll ask me to go get her a menu so she can pick a dinner for herself the following day if she doesn’t want to go down for dinner with friends. There is a tall, maybe Spanish dark hair wavy blonde. She is the rudest of them all when I ask if I can have a menu she gets an attitude. I help my grandmother with the monthly cost to live here and it’s about $10,000+honestly, the dinners are not cheap For the amount you get. I go visit her often and she asks me to get her a menu. My grandmother is 89 and she doesn’t feel up to walking at times. I don’t need this attitude from this young Spanish woman with such HUFF and attitude. Its very unnecessary behavior. Perhaps this job is too high-end for her and she should go back to where she came from. Everyone else in here are very pleasant and all the people who live here are kind and courteous, but this one particular hostess, who think she is the most this has got such an ugly attitude. I really really need to speak to the director of nursing enough is enough already. I’m the one who’s paying 3/4 every month for my grandmother to stay here, and she is supposed to be treated with the outmost respect. But this hostess is not the nicest she is rude even when we go down for dinner. She basically barks at me says you better pay cash for your dinner. Thank you I know I don’t need the attitude. Please let her get another job because she does not deserve to work in a place where elderly people come to retire she needs to treat them with grace, but she is definitely a disgrace.

I called this place 3 times and they Never Answered. After a lot of rings it went to a busy signal. Very unprofessional. Hopefully the First Place my family called will be available when needed. Feeling discussed. I mostly give positive reviews, because most times people only leave negative. I feel the Good Jobs and Services need shout outs. Unfortunately, this place as of right now doesn't.

Although the building and grounds are beautiful my mom was in the nursing section for almost a year and was terribly treated, neglected, and screamed at which I witnessed as I walked in at a different time than usual. I was lied to so many times as my poor mom suffered in this beautiful looking place. A family member visited twice everyday and witnessed the terrible treatment . If you are independent living I can see it would be fine but NEVER put your loved one in the nursing section. Over $13,000 a month and no kind, compassionate care. They need to spend a lot more money on caring skilled staff and CNA’s not fancy furniture and fancy grounds. At least 40 minutes if you rang your bell for help, not gentle with hurting elderly. A horrible place to finish out your life and die under their watch.

What a difficult time of life - who prepares you for this? We have chosen Reeds Landing assisted living for my mom and will be moving her in soon. Toured many places and chose this for 2 big reasons: 1) everyone working there had been extremely friendly and 2) the assistance with medical care - GP doctor has an office there and they will help get mom’s medications in easy to use bubble packs/coordinate with a pharmacy. Everyone I mention Reeds Landing to gives me great feedback! Reeds Landing is making a tough decision easier! Will update my review after she’s been moved in for a while.

Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing has one of the most inviting campuses I have ever visited for senior living. The lake and the grounds are so refreshing and relaxing. Too, the lunch in Twain's Cafe was special. I was able to build a salad just the way I wanted it. Yum!!! And the staff were so friendly and chatty!! I could live there for sure.
