My mother in-law has lived here for about three years. This location has a constant change of senior management. It seems to be very poorly run. The food has gone downhill significantly. It seems they never have fire drills, which seems completely unsafe. Evidently the employees have fire drills, but it's unclear to the residents what they're supposed to do. there are some great employees in the apartments are OK but at 7000+ per month it seems you should be getting better service. they claimed to have 24 hour nursing coverage, which they do not. Lots of promises made during the marketing tour that just don't pan out when you live there.

As anyone can imagine the transition from personal residence to independent-assisted living can happen overnight and certainly be an adjustment. Maplewood at Mayflower Place made that transition very seamless. Being our first experience Pam Fletcher and the staff guided us from "A to Z" with absolute perfection and never pressured us once. Everyone is so helpful and inviting. The residents are beyond friendly and take a very active role in their community, very welcoming atmosphere with endless activities. The grounds and facility are beautiful from the library when you enter, atrium, the bistro & dinning hall, plus a world class swimming pool & gym. Not to mention the little things which count most including the warm colors throughout, numerous gathering areas, and a very attentive/responsive maintenance staff. We sleep better now knowing my Mom is in such a beautiful and safe community that also allows for her complete independence, we enjoy visiting tremendously.

My dad spent a week at Maplewood at Mayflower Place for rehab after a fall and we had a very positive experience! The staff was kind, attentive, and professional. The food was great! We have no complaints and appreciate the care he received while there.

I can't say enough great things about the therapists at Mayflower Place. From day one, their patience, kindness, and genuine compassion made me feel supported and cared for. Their upbeat attitudes and encouragement truly lifted me on difficult days, and their knowledge and dedication gave me confidence in my recovery. They don't just treat patients-they care deeply about people. I am incredibly grateful for everything they've done for me. I was able to return home and live my life again. Highly recommend.

My mother started her stay at Maplewood at Mayflower as a patient in the nursing portion receiving top care. She transferred to their assisted living home on site as a trial for one month. She loves it so much, she is making it her forever home! We as family members could not be happier. The staff are professional, caring and compassionate. We are impressed by Courtney, the male server in the dining room, who greets all guests with a huge smile, kind welcoming voice and maintains eye contact with whoever is speaking. He is serving each table while multi tasking with the (many!) requests each guest has. His memory and care of each person makes everyone feel valued and heard. His customer service is incredible. We also enjoy Cat, the activities director who makes rounds to each table and ensures all guests know about the days activities from what movie is being shown in the film room, the live music at the piano and the many other options that keep our seniors minds working and socializing happening. Meredith, an executive director, is also thoughtful and helpful. We are impressed by the care and concern all staff give our mom and family. The facility itself is clean, inviting and happy. The dining room provides delicious and nutritious meals and are thoughtful about providing unique requests. Our family has much less stress now knowing our mom/sister/aunt/grandma/cousin is being cared for in a vibrant, caring and compassionate place. Thank you Maplewood at Mayflower!
